I've always had one. I just got some tips from a friend over on DA to use it properly. I also learned some more proper coloring and shading techniques.

Ah- fair enough :D It's not something that you can pick up on your own by poking things I've found (digital colouring)

This helps to retain your linearts :) Another good thing is to lock the transparency of the lineart layer so you can colour it. Also, use threshold so your linearts are pure black and white. That way you can flood fill colour for the speedy win :3
