She does have some odd earings, eh? I blame it on he resolution. They wouldn't be so bad if the resolution was high enough that they could make them a good proportion. I love alot of things about her character though ^^ She's so noir. I've been waiting a LONG time for a character like her to appear in the games ^^

They did a little, eh? It's cause of the marker bleed T.T the actual colour I put on was very similar to her skin tone but the bleeding threw it all out T.T YES! The gun was 100% the reason I wanted to do this picture! I've wanted to draw this for a while now XD *fufufufufu*

I was going to post it but 1.30 am took control over me >.> Too much RPing XD I get a little intimidated drawing Fran though ^^; I drew here once here,but some characters just don't gel well for me when I draw them, and I don't want to make a bad drawing of her ^^; There's a few characters like that (Maya is one. I couldn't draw Cammy without making it slutty.) I guess a part of me would draw more given a prompt, but at the moment, my to draw list is pretty bloated XD Stuff like this is just me throwing art to a page. There's alot of space on the page though, so Franziska would've featured somewhere :) It just didn't progress far enough cause it was just me releasing some steam XD Feel free to throw a prompt though. If I get time I may draw it.
You pretty much summed everyone up thoguh :D I reckon Ema started young ;) Maybe they're big in France ^^

It's... a little hard to explain ^^; Mostly, the idea is what I loved, not the final product. If the journey doesn't interest me on sketch level, then I stop and move on. It's a lesson I've learnt the hard way the alot of beginner artists don't get and it's that not all pictures must be finished. Not all of them have to be masterpieces either :) It's perfectly fine to throw a layout down, not like it and move on. All you do is keep the sketch in a book and if for some reason you need to go back to it then do. Maybe you have the spark to finish it then and not before. Maybe you've learnt a bit about art and can make it better. Layout sketches are SO important to get right, cause it's the difference between an ok picture and a fantastic one. I'm not saying all my art reaches it's pinnacle, but I've ruined ALOT of pictures by over working it.
Um... Maybe it's simpler if I say I drew it for fun? Me drawing something for fun usually doesn't get developed past sketch stage, like this picture of Godot as a Lolita and this thumb wars pic of two of my OCs Alex and Darren. They didn't take me long to throw together so don't worry ^^ It's no biggie for me :)

I think you made a good decision going for a new theme- I liked her snow rabbit theme, but hearts and spades added so much more colour and detail into her design, she definitely stands out far more than her first version (plus she kinda matches with Zeth if you see what I mean, what with his fondness for cards XD)
Oh, and when do you think you'll have the next chapter of Turnabout Attorney up? I've been stalking your dA for a while in the hopes of new escapades from Zeth and co. <3

Thank you :) I felt in the end that the ears were the only thing I really liked about the outfit, and as soon as I made the theme suits, suddenly I had a wider pallet, more to play with, and I could still have all the elements that I wanted in her :) That and she matches Zeth more ^^ I was going for snow rabbit for a reason for her, but the nod to what I was doing it for became lost when I introduced other elements in her personality.
The story is still in the works. I've been under alot of stress lately, and not been sleeping right because of it, and I can't write if I can't think. Sorry I'm keeping you waiting. Essentially, I want to solidify all of part 2 and Cottontail's personality before I start, because I went half cocked in part 1, and I wrote myself into a block where if I kept writing with no direction, the story wouldn't progress. I'll be sure to tell EVERYONE when Turnabout Attorney is back in business again though ;)

Her pose is awesome in this, I love how she looks as though she totally isn't bothered about who she's shooting XD The only thing I'd say is that even though I know her lipstick is supposed to look like that because of the heart shape, it looks a little odd from the side on, specially since her face is so pale.
But I like it a lot <3

Heh- yrah, I'd do more, but even a quick picture like this takes ages because of the vectoring process. Illustrator still likes to pack a hissy fit ever now and then and refuses to layer corectly XD It's because of this that I didn't do heaps of graduation.
Her mouth was always going to look weird on the side but I put it down to it being what happens when you're not use to seeing something like this. It'd be just as difficult to see if the shadows were harsher cause of the colour, and that's cool- I suspect that's why geisha make up is like that. To give the appearance of smaller lips, or in this case, just a heart. I originally had the lips white to make it not so weird, but I think if I did any more than that, it'd take away fom the character it gives her.
I'm happy to be doing more vectors though :) It's weird. I hate digital painting but vectoring is ok with me ^^

For a more thorough understanding,this page describes what a graphic vector is. Simplified down, instead of you drawing a curve, a vector makes it a mathematical formula, so you can stretch and shrink the line as much as you want, and it wont lose it's appearance like it would if it were a flat image.
Have you ever tried enlarging a small picture, how it's pixelated? Well, if you don't 'raster' (flatten) a vector image, it will always remain a perfect line. I like using them cause they're clean. I know alot that make bad use of their live trace option however :( IT's an option where illustrator makes the lines for you. It's lazy, and it often destroys all the picture's character.

More Turnabout Attorney. I'll draw some canon characters again some day >.>
Copy paste description:-
I'm WIP coming up with character background for Cottontail- who incidentally needs a name. Anyways, there's a bit of story in this, most which isn't obvious, but Cottontail (the girl- what ever I decide her name will be) is dating Alexander Kraus (blond guy... who looks unsuitably older than he should be >.> ), and she also does modelling with him. She has WAY more back story than that, but essentially at the end of the day, they're both after Zeth.
In formal gear, but I'm really tempted to make them modelling Wedding gowns in the story... just for something different.

Kraus is just a sketch at the moment in this, but I don't know if you read my description on him? If you google Axel Hermann, imagine him with swept back blond hair... I just need to draw him and do justice >.> Lol... can I draw a man that hawt? XD Yeah- I should draw Kraus more often :) His true personality hasn't quite come out yet... I kinda had to cram him in a bit to get him into the action XD I should be getting more art of him out soon though as I come up with more personality traits. Yeah- that's his tie. He looked a little dark without it XD Don't feel too much pity for him though- he has his own in the story ^^
Yes- she's getting more and more interesting the more I work on her. I mean, what was it... a month ago she was a blank canvas. Now she's a character you could write about ^^ I need to fit her into the universe first though.
Oh- and she has a name now :D Her name is Sarah. She's going to be a nod to a childhood favourite character of mine ;) Anyone 20 or older will understand as soon as they see it who she represents ^^ I'm going to have to redesign Kraus a little because of it too >.> I know a few people that will be VERY excited by the redesign >.> XD *is being mysterious*

Um- it's an advert for glasses so that's why he's wearing them, but it's a particular pose I liked of him. And um... yeah. I have a megane fettish... I've been called out now so I may as well admit it XD Glasses are HOT. XD That's not why I chose this pose, but it likely had alot to do with it ;)
Anyways- drew it to practise drawing a non English face. And general practise. Damn, my scanner washed out the image...

Your Cottontail character came out wicked cool as well. I believe someone might have already mentioned it, but she reminds me ever-so-slightly of a Vocaloid as well. And that's not a bad thing! I think she has a really fantastic design and I'm glad you went with the black/orange-ish red color scheme.
Also... why does Zeth/Callisto make more sense than half of the actual canon pairings in the Ace Attorney world? XD I love it and that drawing. My word. ~ <3

Yeah- Cotton tail has a spade tear :) She's very spades/ hearts themed. Even her hair is in a spades shape ^^ She does have a Vocaloids thing going on cause of the bright colours and headphones, but she has them for a reason- not because they're cool

I had to fight to get her to this point though. I look back at some of my early designs and go WTF was I THINKING? Her snow rabbit theme was nice, but this 'suits' the story better (lol)
Heh- yeah- Zeth x Calisto is slowly making it's way XD It's something that occurred to me in RP, but I'm sick of people trying to force pairings onto others which is why I was all 'meh- you decide, take i or leave it' I'm glad most people agree to some point XD
