I'm kinda guessing this counts as fanart as well i did make them and noone said it just had to be drawings (W)right...?

:godot:
Image

Once again I've decided its always a good thing to try to photograph at night, anyway Ema and Klavier- to be honest i'm just glad this one is finished, it's been a pain in the arse from start to finish and i'm not really very happy with it at all except Klavier carrying Ema's bag which i just think is kinda sweet, also she is supposedly holding a test tube, i know i know it looks a bit dodgey like i said this model has been one thing after another
Image
and i know the colour is terrible but it's cos of the lighting, also i was incredibly tempted to stick a certain Samuel Beckett play behind them but it's buried under a load of junk...

The whole gang as it currently stands
Image

My latest addition :javado: :youngmia:
Image

Image

the weird arm and cleavage in all it's glory (i'm telling you, that pair is why i ran out of clay)
Image

Sorry about poor photo quality but its pretty dark here, I'll take some better ones tomorrow... :phoenix: :pearl:
Image
also the paint isn't dry yet which is why the colour looks off in places but i couldn't wait to show as i actually managed a half decent face (for once)
Image

Image

Image

And now making an appearance, Franny and Adrian :franny: :adrian:
Image

Image

The fourth graders are finished now, :nick: :larry2: :jazzedgy:

Image
I did Phoenix in an oversized hoodie as i dunno for some reason i kinda figured that his parents would be the type to do the whole "you'll grow into it" thing...
Image

i give you Ron and Dessie :yuusaku:
Image

Image

Image

and the Trucy... :minuki:

Image

Image

apologies for poor photo quality but i had to use my phone on night mode...

and had a bright idea (quite literally) and went outside to take photos so we have some phoenix as well now, although he's kinda wearing flares as he just wouldn't stand up and to be honest he's still a bit drunk.... :hobohodo:

OMG!! Thats amazing! What did you make it with? I think it looks fantastic, I especially love the cape, its get the right wrinkles colors and all the symbols along the bottom. The hair looks great too. I only wish that there was a nice picture of her face from the front. Nice job!

Actually she's made of stuff you are meant to fix radiaters with... but basically its like clay, it's quite nifty as you have 2 different sticks of plyable stuff that you blend together and it sets solid in 3 hours so it makes it easy to then add details onto the solid basics

I'm open to ideas on who to make next, although i think i'm going to have to do all the women sitting or lying or something as without muscles i'll never make them stand on their spindly legs, I'd like to make a couple (as in a romantic sence not number) but i'm not sure who to do together

Radiator stuff, nice. Thats really nifty.

If you need ideas on who to make next maybe Maya sitting in a meditative pose? I just have this image of her sitting under a waterfall hating it but trying to do spiritual training anyway. ^_^ hehe. As far as couples go... well, I like PxE, but I can see why someone wouldn't want to make a model of it. Hehe, maybe some Miego?

Very nice job! How did you get the different colors? They look really accurate. Did you paint a dried one, or dye the clay? I think a Maya one would be great (or a Pearl one)!

Wow! Those are really impressive! Great work. So you mention being open to suggestions, then perhaps a model of Iris with Phoenix :P please. Anyway, very pretty. I'll be keeping on eye on this thread.

I'm currently working on a Ron and Dessie one just because Ron's costume is so great and his hair to model basically, plus i love those two. Currently up to Ron lying down and I'll paint him tonight and then i'll model Dessie accosting him, I saw a fanart pic of her on him in the cute couples thread so it's loosely based on that idea but in their actual cloths from the game.

And I'm doing a maya meditating one although gravity is against me and her body kinda ended up a bit shorter and chubbier then i really wanted.... plus her hands are causing me a bit of grief, finally managed to wrangle them into that making circles with the thumb and forefinger pose and then stuck them on the wrong arms lol.... sigh

Ha ha well it's kinda how i figure those two are like with one another really,

My forth graders are coming along pretty well, edgey and phoenix (argh his hair wil be the death of me, even in its younger toned down version) just need painting and larry currently has a head but i'm really pleased with his hair, which was surprisingly difficult to style but i think its about spot on now =D so yeah just need a body for him.

Who do people want me to do next, as long as its not Jean (am i the onlyt one that thinks of Little Britain when i see him?!)

Ha ha well they are modelled now i just have to paint them, although i'm unsure of the colour of Adrian's trousers in her T and T outfit so I may do her in her blue stuff, adds more colour anyway i guess, besides I've done her with her hair down so Fran's hands are more tangled in it.... plus makes doing her back easier if it is covered with her hair.

Anyway who should i model next?

thanks =D.

My phoenix and pearl one is modelled and just needs painting, although i think pearl is a little bigger then she appears in the game but actuallly possibly about the right size for her age in real terms (or at least thats what i'm telling myself) I'm actually using proper clay for this one which is better in some ways as its more malable and easier to get cloth thin but on the other hand the radiator adesive was just that and i'm worried none of teh components will stick together so well..... i suppose i can always get the superglue out though.

Also damn Phoenix and your daft hair, although actually its pretty good, can't wait to see it blackened up.

Well i was using this industrial stuff thats really for fixing stuff but it was great as it was really adesive and dried in just 3 hours, but i ran out and it took about £15 a model so now i'm trying some air drying clay which supposedly dries in 24 hours but its been 36 and i'm still waiting and i don't want to pait them until its dried. However that does mean the models i have waiting to dry are stacking up. I've finished my phoenix and sleepy pearl one, i also have a mia and diago one and now i'm doing an ema and klavier one (although this one isn't nessessarily romantic, i've got ema kneeing down doing tsuff with a test tube amd klavier with his hands on her shoulders leaning over and having a look.)

I'm annoyed though i want to get painting, wondering whether to stick them in the oven for a bit and dry them out qucker but then again i don't want to ruin them if that is totally the wrong thing to do. I need to develop some patience.

Also thanks for the great comments =D

Ha ha good job i just focused on my ema/klavier one then, wouldn't have wanted them to turn into aero bars

also here are the models unpainted at the mo while i wait for them to dry
Nick and sleepy pearls
Image
and yes they are currently sitting on a Van Gogh... good to see they have taste (also the Van Gogh museum is the only place to visit when in Amsterdam)

and mia and diago
Image

oh and the green parts are the radiator stuff, its easier to do the heads in that as its impossible to do the hair any good if the head isn't solid else it just squashes... yadda yadda yadda

Holy *SHIT*, pretty poses and people. o___o;;

I will now take a leaf out of your book for everything else I sculpt in future. Diego's hair must've been...insane. Also, there should be polymer clays at the art store which dry in about 15 minutes after baking in a toaster oven, and they're pretty cheap in comparison to the industrial one you were talking about. However, they're kinda limp, so you need to stick aluminum foil or something else inside to structure the models. That's...what you do already, right?

Thanks =D and yeah Diago's hair did pretty much feel like i was sculpting it one strand at a time but i was so pleased with the finished result that it was worth it, also i used the radiator stuff for that so its really stable and solid.

Yeah and i'm gonna have a good look into some different clays as i'm not totally happy with the stuff i used for the last few models, its really difficult to get the pieces to stick together and then i used some special glue which didn't stick anything how i wanted it to and then my acrylic paints wouldn't stick to it so i had to sorta blob the paint on it the end, bah.

But anyway i'm really pleased with Diago in particular.
