I am relatively new here, and I can't figure out how to import/insert/(whatever the right word is) a picture for my sig. If you have any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated!!!

Welcome to the forums!

First, make sure the image is saved to your computer (don't hotlink other people's images!)

Then, go to an image-hosting website like http://www.tinypic.com
[*]Click "browse"
[*]Locate your image that you want uploaded, click "open" so that the image location is shown in the "file" field.
[*]Click "Upload Now!"
[*]After the image is uploaded, click on the URL that's in the field: "IMG CODE FOR FORUMS AND MESSAGE BOARDS" and copy it.

[*]Go back to Court Records forums, go to your user control panel, and go to "signature"
[*]Simply paste that URL I told you to copy and save your changes. It will show up.


FOR FUTURE KNOWLEDGE: If you ever have an image URL (you know, it starts with "http://..." etc.), to make it show up in a post, you have to put IMG tags around it. This is what it looks like:


The image URL goes inside the IMG tags (also known as brackets).

Note: Make sure the image you want does not exceed 600(width)x200(height) pixels or 200kb in size.
