Only took me about 30 minutes. The markers bled a bit. Sorry.

Ow, it's huge. D: Could you shrink it down a little?

Other than that, it's a nice picture. Just remember to erase the sketch after you're done with lineart, otherwise the picture looks rough and unfinished.

And about the bleeding part, I'm pretty sure there's a special kind of paper for markers; if you use them often, it will be a real lifesaver. :butzthumbs: If not, you can use construction paper. (at least I think that's the right word for it?)

Well I shrunk it but I will try to use your suggestion. Thanks! :godot:

Zeta paper is the paper you are thinking of :) IT's paper specifically for ink and markers cause it's a hot press (leaving no texture) and it has a slight wax to it so it doesn't bleed.

Any Watercolour paper will do though. I see people use plain old art paper alot, but I don't like that. You need good markers to stop bleeding with those. Copic multiliners are GREAT to ink with ^^ I use the 0.03mm, 0.3mm, 0.8mm, and the 1mm pens when I draw :) They don't bleed and they're nice to draw with. They have great brush pens too ^^ And their ink is a nice black colour too.

Oh- um, Bristol board is an expensive card that is great for ink and markers too, but I know I had to pay like... $2 for an A4 sheet, so it's expensive to learn on >.> Something for when you want to sell it or make prints from it. I'm using it for my latest comic... so nice to work on TuT

I think that if it's hot press (Smooth) it'll bleed less than cold pressed paper. The weight of the card comes into it too...

Um... That's all from me though. I don't want to bore you with useless art facts >.<

Yeah, I used Copic markers. I bet it's just the paper though.

Actual copic the brand? Or a marker with another label? Some people call all markers copics. Just want to clarify.

Apparently they bleed alot- that's good for blending though. Use a waxier paper and you should be fine. That, or use pens that can block the bleed. Another good thing to try is by stopping a few millimeters from the edges and letting the bleed finish it off. There's not alot you can do about it though except lining your edges well and waiting for them to dry fully before a new application.

Okay thanks! I'll probably draw it again with your suggestions.
