Following the release of AAI: Cammy/Wakana
Okay theres several of the same picture, but different shots(i really want a scanner hahahah), because i couldn't get the angle/lighting right. I'm sure you guys'll forgive me.
I only had A2 sized watercolour paper left, so painting(and drawing even) Thalassa was a bit awkward, especially without an easel.
I will update every once in a while, so don't give up on me :D

Actually, the only thing i purposefully drew in the picture to make it obvious it's Iris are the iris flowers, but i suppose it's kinda hard to tell. I can't paint foliage very well..

Anyways, the paintings are absolutely wonderful, the Iris one in particular. How the colors around her are desaturated complimentary to her, which really makes her stand out more. The flowers stand out as well, but they are not complimentary to the rest of the surroundings so they don't steal too much attention away from her. However the reddish rock formation does compete for our attention.
The pencils are also beautiful, so soft, giving the characters such a gentle look. There is one thing though, their faces look allot alike. If it weren't for the outfits and hairdo and such, it would be a bit difficult to tell them apart.
