I'm giving fanart a go now ^-^;
I'm not very good and I've only done one piece but here it is:
Also I didn't use a scanner or a graphics tablet. Just that mouse, touch thing on my laptop and gimp so it's pretty rubbish...
And I've only done Maya

Pretty cute and not bad for a drawing done with a mouse. One big complain though: The light effect on the hair is way too strong. Her hair looks too shiny that way. Besides that, it's fine - Keep on going :)

I think you did REALLY well if it's a touch pad you used O.o If you can get ahold of a camera though, photographing a hand drawn pic might be easier and faster. Just take it on a neutral day with no flash :)

Oh my gosh yeah o_o I can't even fathom drawing on the computer with a touchpad; I mean a mouse is sometimes difficult enough over a tablet XD It's really adorable, you should definitely keep drawing! <3
