So, I'm not really a drawer at all but I thought I'd open this thread just so that - whenever I do draw - I can add it here and show everybody...! In other words, don't expect frequent updates, because I'm a whore like that...xD (Plus, Yuu-chan bullied me into doing this...;_; <3333)

I. Ema

Okay, here's the first (and only) piece so far. I love Ema so much that I just had to do something; in this case, I traced the outline of her official art in order to test my colouring skills...! I'd love to be able to draw naturally but, being blunt, I can't; I'm hoping to be able to build up my actual drawing skills to be able to do things like this entirely freehand in future but, until then, here's the result...

Well, I hope to see more non-trace free hand drawings from you. Your coloring and shading skills are pretty good, although a tip-- try mixing/blending colors. You'd be surprised how much the coloring will look. :D

I think that's a really good point, Aurezai - I'll try to blend/mix my colours more in future, I'm sure, as you said, it'll make it look a lot better...! <3333

Wow - another comment! xP Aww, thanks ButzPuff! Yeah, I just used my normal colouring pencils - I'm pretty traditional when it comes to drawing (as in, I don't have the talent to experiment much...xD) <3333

Mhmmm... You say you can't draw, but I actually think that you should try it out. Your drawing doesn't look traced, I thought you copied it, and that's a big difference! Most people trace without following very well the original lineart and make the final pic look all messy, while your tracing is made with quite a firm hand, not to speak about the colouring! Really, good job! You just need, as Aurezai already mentioned, to learn how to mix colours. Also, if I'm not mistaking, this pic is drawn only with a pencil, without ink. You should try inking your drawing before colouring, because colours usually mix up with the pencil and dirty all the pic.

But, other than that, you're very good! Don't give up and try some free-hand drawing! That's the only way you will learn!
