This is FlashPoint's art thread. As I have always liked making gfx (including sigs, avatars etc), I'm trying to create some Phoenix Wright art now. Currently, I'm not good enough to take requests, but if they are simple enough, I might try it. So far I've only made one successful one and that's a basic gif. Soon, I'll get Adobe Photoshop with Imageready so right now I have to use Paint.net :sadshoe:. Soon, I'll put a wider range of stuff. Feel free to give me tips and advice. Here's my first one:

The GIMP interface, or so I've heard, sucks. I'm getting Adobe Photoshop CS3 instead.

A weird Trucy pose for a signature, if you ask me, but I think it's cute. Yeah, I'm a guy saying cute. :P

As for details..I like the star background, especially where it looks like it's cometing[a word I just made up] down to the right. It's neat.

Call me Dax. I like that Gumshoe sig. The font reminds me of that old comic book font; Gumshoe kinda looks like he might fit into a comic, no? :gumshoe:

Kinda makes me want to mess around with Photoshop again..I stopped a long time ago.

If you want, you can have it and I can change the 'Gumshoe' to 'Dax Tsurugi'. And yeah, I got that font from Blambot.

I was thinking of asking for one of Glen Elg, but uh..I forgot he has no actual ingame sprites aside from the 'cutscenes' and the evidence picture. :payne:

Anyway, you don't have to do that. I'm just offering comments. Unless you want me to request something. :javado:

Maybe try one of Javado/Godot? :keiko:

Hmm... you should try to blend the render with the background... you know, using clipping mask or adjustment layers. And you should also look for some good tutorials and you'll see how soon you improve.

I have a minor [nitpicky] suggestion for the Phoenix recoloring: you might want to change that red outline to a blue one, or a black one. Otherwise, I love it. :godot:
