Post subject:  Nito Draws Stuff in Class
Ok, so not all of this was done in class, and none of it was actually finished there. Still, I've gotten into the nasty habit of making what I think will be throwaway sketches on the backs of assignments and then realize that I actually like it quite a bit. This results in drawings with very noticeable writing showing through from the opposite side, which in some cases isn't so bad but other times makes me want to cry. Go me :sadshoe:

All hand drawn, ink and colored pencil, with minor saturation/contrast adjustments in paint shop because scanners suck.

A list of Greek verbs in the background. In this case, I think it sort of adds to it. Makes it less empty. Or something.

Sort of meant to be a "something for everyone" pairing sketch. No, I don't know what's with all the tying of things, it seemed like a good idea at the time. The writing is most noticeable and horribly distracting here. Probably won't ever finalize this one at all.

I'm not even that big of a Death Note fan. The idea just occurred to me as one of the worst things that could ever happen ever. I'll probably do more with this one at some point, to make it all sinister or something.

These are really nice drawings! I like the solid coloring in them. And oh, Death Note Shelly... I don't even need a vast amount of knowledge about the anime to get that parody. XD So clever!

If you really did draw this stuff in class, I must say, it looks pretty good given the circumstance!

Ah, and if you need any help with Greek I lived in Greece for 9 years so I know my stuff by now.

Thanks, all! For some reason, I'm really happy with the way Shelley de Kira came out, myself. Maybe because usually when I draw men, they end up looking like.... not-men. See Phoenix above for comparison. ><

The ones that I started in class (the ones in the first half of my post,) I really only did the base sketches for them in class. I fixed the accuracy of costumes and such, as well as did all the inking and coloring, back at my dorm. The only stuff I actually finish during class is usually stuck in the margins of my notes, so even if I like it a lot, I can't really salvage it. It's a bad habit I need to get rid of.

You lived in Greece for 9 years? Awesome! I really want to visit there... I'm learning ancient Greek, which is apparently considerably different than its modern form. Same crazy alphabet, though!

Ah, wow... ancient Greek... nevermind then, haha. Didn't get in to that much myself. It's VERY different.
