In about a month I'm going to the Abunai con in Holland. It's the first con I'm going to and I would really love to do a cosplay, so, I'm wondering, I want to cosplay a female that's not to hard, since I haven't gotten that many time. Anyone you can suggest to me?

She's in your sig.

All you have to do for Ema is get some pink-lens sunglasses, a big red ribbon, a lab coat, some buttons, and the hard part is finding the blouse and skirt (Or is it a dress?) she wears underneath. Do your hair like hers, or if you can't, get a wig.

Her bag of vials and test tubes can be made from a plethora of bags to choose from and several test tubes you could probably find at a science supply store.

I'm not sure about the availability of these things in Holland, but the internet is always an option! :will:

I'll consider, she is one of my favorite characters. Only problem is a wig, if only my hair was longer D=<

Penny Nichols shouldn't be too difficult to do, either. Vest, striped shirt, glasses, and some Samurai cards.

Or Viola, for that matter. Though she might be a problem if you don't have dark hair...

Also, you could try maybe Adrian Andrews. Sleeveless blue top, what appears to be a blue skirt, glasses, and a notebook, and you're pretty much all set. A wig would be kinda easy for this one, since you'd just have to get a blonde wig that long and do the hair like it is.

That was about as long as I had to sew mine together, and I'm definitely going to revisit Ema again. You didn't say you would be buying the entire outfit, though, that was just implied by what Mike said. True, if you were buying the pieces to the outfit, it wouldn't take as much time and hair-pulling, but would require much attention to the little things. Young!Ema's outfit has many, many layers and elements; from my personal experience, I would suggest someone simpler like Maya or Viola (this is if you are sewing the outfit). Sorry if I've discouraged you, but good luck with whoever you decide on! :3

Hmm, doing Viola would be an option, I quite like her, and I am not very good with sewing but I know enough people who can do an ok job.

Okay first: what do you look like? If you don't look much like the character, or are overweight (no offense) it usually doesn't work. XD

I cannot suggest any characters until I know what you look like.

Well, I never go from scratch, or even close. I always find articles of clothing that are close to what I need and use them as a base. I then sew and glue on components they need. For example, I made a Roy Focker (A la Macross) costume for A-Kon (Which I didn't get to attend :larry:

). I found a grey mechanic's jumpsuit, screwed with the legs so they fit a bit tighter and ran seamlessly into the boots, sewed a black stripe onto the sleeves, and the belt and straps were made of... A belt and some straps.

Maybe we just differ in method. My cosplay never come out great, but they're passable, cheap, and easy.
