Okay so I've decided to do an Alita Tiala cosplay. I can make the dress, that won't be too difficult. The only problem is the shoes. I don't really know where to look for them or which stores to try. I'd prefer not to order them online, too. I live in Canada, but I'm really close to Vancouver, so I'm sure that there'd be at least 500 shoe stores. Yeah >.<

Handy dandy reference picture.

In my opinion, shopping online is much easier than going through fifty department stores. You can narrow down your search to an extent and you don't have to waste time traveling from store to store. Perhaps you can check your favorite stores' online catalogs for a pair and see if they have it at your local shop.

If you can't find a perfect pair, perhaps you could rig up a similar pair with some blue fabric. Example: Take these shoes I found on the Target website and do a bit of touching up with scissors and recoloring with some blue silky material. Not the best product possibly, but an alternative I found in about five minutes. :maya:

Wedge/espadrill-ish shoes are pretty common around spring/summer so I'm sure you'll be able to find a similar pair that you can alter a bit. :D

I should have been more specific. That's what I meant >.<

Yeah I was thinking about that, too. If I can't find anything, I do have some blue wedges that are fairly different, but I could just use them anyways XD
