I don't think there are many smart investments available right now.

(Of course, we do have limited liability... but that's for corporations, isn't it?)

EDIT: I think we just found Tsuki's late birthday present.

well...theres afew things needed done but...the main things i mainly used are
glassen blur, anti-aliasing, sharpen, cartoon, lighting effect, Posturize,
if you want the effect of the second pic...make sure you have the orriginal image and transparency it over the edited image (this will correct problems like blurred lines and such)

and also concider using the smudge tool in areas...it really helps :P

for now the prosess i used is abit complex but if i get around to it ill make some sort of turtorial step by step of what i did...if its liked by enough people :P

Edit: I used Gimp BTW...

Eh. I like the murders better than the circumstances.

We have a lot of info about the actual murder--like the murder weapon, the bartender, the moved body, the drugs, the mop...

We know barely anything about the victim.

If it's Shelley, then we don't need to think about the evidence we had to figure out who murdered Natasha, since we know it's him. However, since we don't know anything about Natasha, we can only begin to make wild guesses as to who hired him.

Oh, and considering Case 2, Franky may as well go "It's Shelley, kthxbai".

(Also, the bathroom seems like a really unlikely place to plant his card; I'd think he'd do it right near the body.)

Someone had to put it there, but who and why? Prolly not Shelley, since he would want it to be open... and probably not the killer (assuming it's not Shelley, or w/e), since s/he would probably want to make sure it's not found.

I really hope it's just a false lead, b/c I really don't like Shelley =\
(But if it were a false lead, then they would try to act like Shelley. And if they were doing that, wouldn't they also place the card near the body?)

I was like: "...Shelly?"
WTF.

I don't like the idea of being him the murderer, so I hope it some kind of set up.
Yet, if Shelly is the killer I'm beginning to suspect that Ambasador-guy. He knows Russian, so he could very well know about the victim and her crimes.

That is the most pitiful Russian accent I've seen, Artemis.

Гм... Shelly's card, ah? If he's involved, that raises a question that others have pointed out: what's the card doing in the restroom? Either two people died that night, or someone wants to conceal de Killer's role in the crime.

Hold it... I just realized... Where's Kristoph in all of this? I find it a bit odd that he wouldn't defend his own subordinate.

He's busy defending Apollo in my comic. *shot*

In all seriousness, though, Francis was asked about that, and he said that he wanted to defend himself.

But if someone found the card and wanted to make sure people didn't find it, they wouldn't move the card to the bathroom... they would keep it and then rip it up/burn it/dispose of it in some way, so I don't know if that really couldn't happened...

I'm serious. I just noticed.

It doesn't change much about my spectaculations though.

@ General Luigi; OMG you're right! Sort of.
Either there'll turn up another body, or Franziska liked tampering the crime scene
Or Francis did when he was drunk/high/druged

Well, thanks for the thought, but I prefer my own methods.
You see, now it looks more like a painting - and fairly blurry. PW backgrounds are clear.
Sure it may look a bit too realistic, but I think it's rather okay. The way I work is by, first of all cleaning up any unnecessary details, then I used Laplace edge detect to create black edges for the objects in the scene, and then I added some necessary details from actual PW backgrounds to make at least those bits look the part. Finally, I indexed the whole thing to 180 colors with the dithering option set (apparently the PW backgrounds look dithered rather than what you get with the usual indexing).

Greeny, I would like to request that once my comic comes out, you will refrain from accusations of copyright infringement. First Russian characters with knowledge of a crime, and now Shelly de Killer? If another similarity to my own comic pops up, I'll just laugh.
