HUGE DISCLAIMER: I dunno if this should go here or in the general Present Evidence area. If this needs to be moved, go ahead and do so, staff.

So I was thinking, I'm sure some of us have a penchant for acting. Thus, those of us are more than likely also attracted to voice acting. So why not give it a shot with something we like, and make something for the enjoyment of all the community?

And then lightning struck home: How about we make audio versions of our favorite fanfics posted here or elsewhere, using talent from our own forum members for this?

All anyone would need for this is a good microphone/headset, and the free software Audacity to actually record themselves. So why not give this a shot?

The idea first occurred to me while re-reading kitsune's The Obvious Solution single-shot, which is a pretty damn good piece of literature for those of us who love the Phoenix/Maya pairing, but if this actually takes off and many people become interested, we can do this with virtually ANY story we want -- we could even eventually do voiceovers of the original games. =D

So what do you guys think? Interested? =D

I might join if I get a microphine, I haven't got one yet.

What would you reccomend for a headset, for I try using mine, but the quality always comes out muffled and quiet, even when right up to my mouth.

I'm using a fairly cheap Logitech Headset.
