Hello, everyone! At the moment, I am sitting here with my sound editor, monkeying around with some of the voice acting auditions I got for my game, just for kicks...and, hmm. If some of these auditions were a few points higher or lower in pitch, they'd be a much better fit for the character.
...however, I've never been a fan of anything like that; I'd rather it be everyone's authentic voice, rather than a modded version. (Even if my sound editor is quite good and doesn't screw up the voices when I mod them...mostly.)
So, comrades, I'd like your opinion: in terms of choosing VA's for a fangame, should I use editing software to perfect the pitches for the voices, or keep searching until I can find someone who is a perfect fit for each role naturally? Danke in advance for your opinions :3c
