It means astronauts now have more resources; they can use the water for their rocket fuel and also as drinking water (or so that guy on the news says). Also, this could be one step closer to creating an atmosphere on the moon so humans can survive there.
Not like we'd live long enough to go to the moon, anyways.

It means astronauts now have more resources; they can use the water for their rocket fuel and also as drinking water (or so that guy on the news says). Also, this could be one step closer to creating an atmosphere on the moon so humans can survive there.
Not like we'd live long enough to go to the moon, anyways.
They are already planning these so-called Space Buses which cost a heap and let you visit space and possibly the moon.
They're moving at a fast pace, so I think we will at least see someone live up there.

I don't like the idea of people populating the moon.
There's that thought deeply hidden in my mind that people might think: "Oh cool, a new kind of earth to screw up" and then doing the same thing like they did with our earth, e.g. building a shitload of factories that cause air-pollution and such on the moon. I don't think they would take good care of it...

Most likely. The fact of there being H20 means they can extract Oxygen for breathing and Hydrogen for the atmosphere.

heh, well if they are able to create an atmosphere somehow later, I assume there would be air then?
but on the whole, it's a moot question whether we will be ever able to live on the moon or not... we will be dead until then anyway...

Also, the "0g" areas that can be created are just areas with such high centrifical force thag you cant feel gravity. Spin spin spin.
