This ride....... Seems like a lot of fun.

It has a fansite for it, but it doesn't seem like it's very busy.

Has anyone even heard of the Tower of Terror?

EDIT; I'm not talking about a ride in Australia, I'm talking about the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

(There's ToTs located in Florida, California, Paris, and Tokyo. Ever been to one?)

I've been on the California Tower of Terror, and it's tons of fun! You basically freefall both upwards and downwards, complete with cool visuals and Twilight Zone references. Such a great ride!

I used to have a fear of high velocity rides; and my trips to Walt Disney World overlapped with those phobias. (I can ride them now); but anyways, I did like watching the ride from a distance where I could see the opening and closing 'elevator doors'; looked like a cool way to play mind games with the riders. And that's exactly what the Twilight Zone was all about, so it's a fitting match.

The ToT was pretty fun. The visuals before the ride were nice and accurate and the freefall was pretty exhilerating. Also, there's supposedky a system that randomly decides which floors to start the drop on, so its always a different experience

To Phoenix; I wanna go ride it now, but I'm not a person who has the money nor time to get to California or Florida (I also can't drive, so....) But if my school wins a contest that coming up, there might be a chance for me to ride the ToT!

To Wooster; Yeah, mind games are always fun. I also used to have a fear of rides like that, but now it's just a hatred of rides that go around and flip your car or pod around. (Bad festival experience.)

To OriginalBubs; Yep, there's a system that's been put in recently to where the ride starts and acts differently. There was an episode of Modern Marvels where it talked about the ToT and it said something about the random ride system thing.

I am a self-proclaimed Disney Dork, and I've ridden so many times I've lost count. So much fun! And the fact that it's totally random makes it even better!

To antonis; There was a ride simulator I found, but I didn't see anything like that on it. Which one did you ride?

I went in the Tower of Terror in Disney Sea Tokyo, which had all the Twilight Zone references removed. I enjoyed the Tower of Terror the most of all rides in Disney Sea, especially because we entered it thinking it was a horror house. Imagine the fear when we realized what it really was. That moment was about 2 seconds before the drop.
