On the topic of having a life, I took the test again because I wasn't satisfied with my first result, and I got this (this time I actually tried, once the quiz got into the whole super-math formulas and computer crud I got bored the first time). I guess in a sense it seems like an oxymoron, but I guess it kind of fits my description pretty well.
I had no idea I knew that much about comics though.
I swear, that "Do You Use Movie Lines?" question was definitely designed just for me. Napoleon Dynamite is my all-time favourite movie, and I usually drop some sort of ND line w/o even realizing it at least once a week. Which reminds me, Napoleon Dynamite was on last Friday,it made my day. Anyways...

Also, we work for and run nerd conventions where we meet other awesome peeps like unto ourselves. I say it all works out for the good. Sure, we're losers sometimes too, but ehh, it kinda comes with being a human, and all. You're always a loser in someone's eyes.

EDIT: ...yeah, I don't think anyone appreciates being called a loser and a no-life especially by strangers on an internet forum. For all we know if there exists some quantitative Life scale I (after all gaining admission into one of the best universities in the world has got to count for something, yeah?), and for that matter everyone else who posted in this thread, may have more of a life than you. Think before you post.
But... but. You'll make people cry with that kind of attitude. Really, people who spend their lives on the internet forum tend to be much more sensitive than those with a real life because the former has no sense whatsoever as to what real human contact is other than their preconceived notions. Please don't hurt those kinds of people, they make up 95% of the users here and they feel as if their lives matter. Don't be a forum Hitler. =(

But it also.. ISNT real. Forums are basically like.. The RP of Fandom. We make up our character and play our roles, some of us may even build up some kind of.... I don't know, "in-game" recognition, I guess, for it - and in this case "in-game" is used to describe the world of the forum (ANY forum), Not always GOOD recognition, but it's the type of game that only anonymity can create. It is a rather interesting thing, isn't it?
That isn't, however, to say that we all are playing this RP, some people may actually be essentially the same on the internet as they are in real life and therefore just being themselves on here (or other forums), but I tend to think that many like to exclude certain AFK Character traits when posting on the intarwebbernets. Whether to keep things interesting or because those specific traits annoy them is up to the user~
