... My excuse is that I knew the six star ball's star pattern looked NOTHING like that xD

Ah, Dragon Ball misconceptions... I used to think the Cell Saga was twice as long because Cell came back to life to do the Cell Games all over again. Nope, it was just reruns xD

I also used to think the second Broly movie was the first. In my defense, I saw Broly: Second Coming in Japanese before I knew the first one existed :yuusaku:
So I finally grew a brain and remembered to give myself a signature... Whoopee.

I dunno, wouldn't that title have tipped you off?

So if I asked what religion you are, you'd tell me all about God saving your life or just say that you're a Christian and then see if I ask more?

Uh... can't think of anything I got wrong as a kid... that's the good part about repressed memories.

True. Although with the memories repressed, the person doesn't constantly have to think about it.

True you don't have to think about it, but sooner or later it will start eating you from the inside.

Also true, but I'd rather have aftereffects from repressed memories, rather than having the repressed memories resurface and run the risk of them fucking me up even more. (I mean, if I learned that I was molested as a child, would it change anything? It would explain things. And it could cause me more mental anguish than just repressing them)

I didn't know the title at the time. The only thing my brother told me about it back then was that it was the Broly movie :yuusaku:

In essence, I suppose, but I'm not one to force my beliefs on someone either. I hate it when people do it to me, so why should I do it to them? I'll tell people about my life and my testimony if they want to hear it, but as far as saying YOU HAVE TO LOVE GOD is just downright stupid. I think people should make their own choices, not have me do it for them. I can see why people are turned off by Christians too because so many people do the latter. I let my life do the convincing, not my words.

To go with another weird DBZ one, I used to think Tenshinhan had only one arm. In my defense, the first episode I saw with Ten already had him missing an arm. In fact, my first episode of DBZ had Goku in "HFIL". I'm amazed I got into the series with that episode being my first impression.
On April 3, 2016, Court Records Forums experienced a miracle upon that day.

Nope. I walked into the room after that part, though it was still noticeably the beginning.

Even if I hadn't... There were no subtitles. As a result, I didn't understand what was going on, either xD (My bro, however, did, so he attempted to explain it to me... Alas, I was too young to fully comprehend it  )

When I was a child, I did not get all the drunk scenes in Disney movies.

That scene in Sleeping Beauty with the two drunk kings. The thought that came to my mind was, "Those guys are drinking a lot of juice. D: Even I don't drink that much."

Now that I am an adult...There's a particular drunk scene in Peter Pan that makes me choke from laughter.

I don't remember a drunk scene in Peter Pan... then again, I don't think I watched Peter Pan all that often.
I did always get the drunk scene in Dumbo, with the Pink Elephants!
Great scene when I was a kid and I still enjoy it.

And this is why they shouldn't censor children cartoons anymore. Because when I was a child I was clueless.

And the new Spongebob episodes are stomach turning gross and i doubt the kids mind.

Like that black centaur that was shining a lighter centaur's hooves in Fantasia?
She was removed in later versions.

I agree, though, they shouldn't censor children's cartoons. Children aren't as dumb as people think they are, they notice things and process them differently than we'd expect them to. Same with censoring anime, especially if they were for pre-teens to teens to begin with. You can't cut out the violence, yet show afterscenes of violence, and expect the pre-teens, teens or even younger children to not realize what happened. Like the YuGiOh! anime that 4Kids did - I was always confused by there was such a huge shining bright light going on whenever one of the hologram monsters was sliced in half. (It's like that stupid idea, if you show something to kids they'll immediately go and do it. I have yet to find a kid that saw something 'violent' on TV and immediately tried to imitate it - for the most part, they know that stuff in cartoons can't be done in real life, either cause it's stupid to do or because it's physically impossible)

I used to believe that people could use umbrellas for parachutes. I blame Mary Poppins and Super Smash bros. Melee for that.

I believed that Mr. Game And Watch was a new character created especially for Smash Bros., until I read his trophy description.

I believed that there was no way graphics could ever get better than the gamecube. In my defense, my mom thought the same thing at that time, and she was in her 40s!

I believed that Mario was still called Jumpman in Japan.

I believed that you stood still long enough, you'd start rotting, as I thought that the reason that the bacteria were able to eat corpses was because they were no longer moving.

One of the ways I got tricked into having manners was the belief that, if you farted, syaing "excuse me" meant the smell would go away.

Also, a quite dangerous belief I had was that my Batman costume would give me the power to fight criminals and protect me and whatnot, so I went out in it at night, on my own. Never for long, and it was at least in areas that were lit, and somehow didn't run into any trouble, despite being in quite a rough neighbourhood.

And in more embarassing beliefs when I was about three or four, I thought when you met a woman you were meant to show her your genitals right away. I have no idea why I got that belief, I can assure you it did not last.

I also thought that love existed. Hah! Sorry, couldn't resist XD
