I then decided to look up some strange new creatures. And, quoted from a comment on that video link, we really know more about the universe than our own oceans. I bet there are some truly weird creatures out there.

Ah, I have heard and researched most of these hybrids but I haven't seen such nice photos of them. The only one on there that I never heard of before are Wolphins. I always have found Hybrid animals to be amazing despite possible health and genetic problems. But if it wasn't for people taking that risk, most dogs would be here today!
