Are the ingredients the same? More specifically, do they uses cane sugar or high fructose corn syrup.

Oh, and does anyone know where to get Wild Cherry Pepsi? I think I remember it being in convenience stores, but I'm not sure.

*shrugs* I have no idea, I didn't pay attention to the ingredients. ^_^;;

You should be able to get Wild Cherry Pepsi at the grocery store, I would think!

I'm not that big into soda. I prefer drinking sweet iced teas or juices.

But my favorite soda has to be Mountain Dew. I like Sierra Mist too.

Mountain Dew + Fritos = WIN :3

I was able to get my hands on Wild Cherry Pepsi the other day. I remember the Cherry flavor being more pronounced than it was in the one I drank recently. Oh well, that's how memories work. The flavor did seem to be a bit sweeter than Cherry Coke (but it's been a while since I've had that too). Cherry flavor in soda was a fad for a while. Dr. Pepper finally jumped on that bandwagon (about a decade later). Well, maybe fad isn't the right word. I think you can still get cherry flavors for most sodas today. There was that lemon flavor fad a few years ago with diet drinks. Anyway, I'll stop rambling now. I could go for a good soda right now, but then I wouldn't be able to sleep.

I must say that I love this thread. A thread about soda is just epic win. :godot:

Only problem is that I want to taste everything that is named in this thread.

I really have to go to norway and get the soda "Villa Faris" (not 100% sure about the name) probably one of the most awesome drinks in the world.

When I moved from Illinois to Virginia, it took me about six months to learn to say "soda" instead of "pop".

Sadly, I don't think I've seen any generic Ginger Ale, but I love Canada Dry!

First question: Yes.

Second Question: Enough to threaten my health.

Third Question: Usually Cherry Coke Zero, but that's not widely available at the college I attend.

I'm determined to turn my eating habits around this year. So far I've seen some progress, but still nothing impressive.

All depends on which part of the state your in I guess. I know which county your from but I'm not revealing that if that makes you uncomfortable. I would think Arlington, Fredericksburg & Richmond would refer to it as pop. But the closer you get to West Virginia & Kentucky they would call it soda.

I drink two bottles of Diet Coke normally a day.

I call it pop, but it might just be a Canadian thing. Anyways, I can't decide between Root Beer and Dr. Pepper, they're both awesome, but Dr. Pepper has such a unique flavour.

YES. Love ginger ale. But generic? Cannot measure up. Go Canada Dry.

Other than that, I drink a lot of lemon lime soda and root beer. Occasionally Dr. Pepper or Pepsi, once in a while Mountain Dew. As a rule I'm not picky, except that I don't drink a lot of caffein. I don't know why.

I only drink soda during special occasions because for some reason people who throw party refuse to serve water or juice.

Then again the last party I was at served water and juice pouches...Oh nostalgia, juice pouch juice tastes terrible. ^^;

Well ok, I do adore root beer floats and I can tolerate orange and grape soda and sprite.
