Well, we're still allowed to eat chicken, provided we don't go round the back and eat it in front of them.
They've been laying a lot of eggs recently! We got 16 eggs in just the first week, and I must say, their eggs are delicious. They're also developing a taste for the tomatoes in the greenhouse right opposite the pen. And now that my sister's visiting home, we'll be naming them soon, and once that's done, I'll get some pictures of them and put them up here.

I can't even have cats or dogs in our apartment, the woman who owns the house won't let us. I'm also allergic to cats.
However, I do have two turtles! One I got from a friend at my church and the other my mom got from Craig's List.

At least they lived a long life, I don't think I'd be motivated to get another pet after that.
