My favourite candies are absurdly expensive.

I love pocky dipped into chocolate and then covered with crushed almonds. Those are seriously delicious. I like to lick the almonds and chocolate off before I actually eat the stick. :godot:

I also love dark chocolate with either orange or mint. Particularly that sort in which the chocolate is one thin sheet that's been folded and is sort of crunchy. I love those, especially if they come with marzipan.

And, and dried fruits! Particularly dried mango and dried kiwi. They are awesome, and I can just pop downstairs and grab a bag when I feel like it. I'm not sure if they are considered candy, though.

On the cheaper side, I love Nerds. And gobstoppers. I'm a Wonka fan. And those white rabbit candies. I used to be able to peel off the rice paper with only my teeth and then eat the rest. =D Oh, and someone mentioned Kinderbueno, which is my favourite candy as a kid (and expensive too).

Thanks for making me hungry for some pocky.

Oh well, I'm going to the asian food market today (and I'll be the only white person there other than my mom), and hopefully they'll be selling for a good price as usual ;D

And you eat it the same way I do @______@

My friends say that it's obscene, the way I eat pocky.

Is it just me? =P

SKITTLES!

:gant:

My favourite sweets. Uh-huh. Haven't had any for a while now, maybe I should go buy some net time I go out the house.

I've never tried pocky before, is it really as good as people make it out to be? I'm curious. :eh?:

For me, the normal ones are nothing special. It's the more expensive, 'vanity' ones that are really good.

I like the strawberry dipped pockys myself, but I'm a bigger fan of Strawberry creme filled Koalas. (Better edit my previous post to add those.)

I like those too, specifically mangos. Let's count it as candy.

Candy? I don't have any favourites.

But that doesn't mean I don't like 'em. I seldom refuse if I'm offered sweets.

"Chocolate? Did you say chocolate?"

"Yes sir, with or without nuts?"

"Chocolate?! Chocolate?! CHOOOCOLAAAAAAAAAAATTE!"

My thoughts on chocolate summed up in one dialogue from Spongebob, thank you very much.

But seriously though, chocolate, especially milk chocolate, is like the most amazing stuff on earth! M&M's, Crunch bars, Hershey bars, Reese's Pieces, Kisses, you name it!

I also LOOOOVE cookies & creme!

Milk chocolate is a big one for me. Most Reese's products, as well as milk chocolate truffles, fall into this category. Reese's Fast Breaks, Reese Sticks, and Lindor milk chocolate truffles are the three I find hardest to resist.

Among fruity confections, Air Heads, Starburst (especially the tropical ones), Sour Brite Crawlers, and Fruit Pastilles (why, oh why must they not be sold in American stores?) are probably the big ones for me.

Of all the things I'm picky about eating, why did the really unhealthy stuff have to be an exception?

Look at all these women and their chocolate. I myself am geared towards the sour candy. Warheads, Willy Wonka stuff like Shock and Sweettarts, and Sour Brite stuff are my jam. Sour Patch Kids are nice, until all the sour sugar is gone and I have to chew the gummy which is my least favorite part of the candy.

Hey chocolate is awesome! I don't have much room to say since I prefer dark and bitter but oh well
Have you ever tried those really sour ball candies(forgot the name)? I used to love those and would have challenges with my classmates to see who had the most balls eating a bunch of those without spitting all out. I'm not entirely sure if they sell it everywhere...

I dislike chocolate-y candy a ton. I had a diet when I was 11 due to a medical history that made me eat whole-grain food mostly and practically forbid me from eating any kind of candy for a while. The rule loosened after a few months.... but ever since, I just don't like candy a lot. Particularly chocolate. Chocolate just feels too heavy on my tongue and although sometimes I do want some chocolate, I am generally okay with just one or two pieces. Mostly, I'd prefer white chocolate... dunno why. Guess I'm racist when it comes to chocolate.

Other candy I enjoy is just something soft and sweet I can chew on. Some time ago, my mother made an applesauce-banana-nutmeg-cake and it was so nice and moist and something I could chew on, it was lovely. Sadly, we barely ever use recipes, so the cakes made since with those ingredients became dry and not that wonderful moisture one again.

Liquorice - salt and/or sweet, it doesn't matter. Good liquorice is always appreciated. Blacker and saltier than hell itself...that is coff...I mean liquorice.

Oh, and milk chocolate. Not a big fan of dark chocolate.

Because I had a illness-related-healthy-diet forced on me for a year, I have really cut down on eating candy. And when I got my braces, that put a huge block onto candy, too. Now that both are gone...

I like chewing gum. It keeps me from eating when I'm bored and it gives me something to do.
I also like to think that it helps my jaw alignment a bit.

Mostly, though, because my jaw hurts a lot lately - because my overbite was so severe that my muscles are still not entirely used to being pulled up all the way to the front - I like soft candy. Something soft I can chew on.

But I'm not a big fan of chocolate. I like having a slice of this store-bought chocolate cake my mother sometimes buys. But overall, I tend to stay away from chocolate. It tastes too heavy and I generally can't tolerate more than a bit of it. Then my stomach starts to protest.

Oh man, did I really make this topic, like, five years ago? And people are necrobumping it?

I'm not sure what to make of this.
