Tell them how you feel. He'll get over it. You're only 14, it's not actually love. He just has a very strong sense of like for you.

I just saw your reply to my post for the first time, blinq. Interesting idea. You might even be right, but I doubt it; then again, I'll learn the truth, soon enough. If what you say is true, it'd make things easy for me, huh? I wish everything could be that easy :P Either way, don't dismiss yourself so quickly. I'm sure you're a good help to people :D

...but I'd say that your suggestion more accurately describes her parents than her! XD Not to say that the girl in question is not my friend, because she is... but her parents are apparently nuts for me. (she's the sister of a different friend of mine, so I know the parents)

Hm, this isn't really an 'encounter' but it has to do with the opposite sex.

So lately people have been pairing me up with EVERYONE. FFFFF.

'MINA, BORIS AND MATTHEW ARE GOING TO HAVE A THREE WAY MARRIAGE!'

'Are you his girlfriend?'
'No.'
'Oh, well someone told me that you were a couple.'

*When me and my friend were walking down the hall...*
'*whistles* KISS HER!'

'LIEK OMG DO YOU LIKE WILLIAM?'
'Who the fuck is William?'

...Yeah. And apparently the only way to stop it is to say that I like someone. But I doooon't. And I don't wanna hurt anyone's feelings or make them hurt mine. So. What should I do?

Got a polite "no" today from the girl, like I figured I would get. Ah well, no bother. She was nice about it, at least, and (I think) sincere. I still feel OK, since I at least asked her; there have been times in the past where I felt like kicking myself for not making a move, and it's a terrible feeling. Much worse than a rejection, if you ask me. So, I'm not really down on myself.

Wow, thanks, Liquid! You've rather flattered me, and really, I was just being myself... :bellboy:

That said, I don't know if it's about bravery. What I do know is that (at least for me) thinking about what I could have done or what could have been hurts more than rejection. This might sound silly, but I'd much rather ask and get rejected than find myself feeling immensely regretful later because I never even made a move. The regret would hurt me a lot more than the rejection. Knowing that I made a move is good enough for me... if she didn't want it, she just didn't want it. That's all. I did what I did and I have no regrets.

As for girls like you, and how brave you are... if you wanna try and be "brave" and ask someone out yourself, that's great. Do it! But I'm the son of a rather traditional mother and that must be where I got the notion that it is proper for the guy to man up and ask the girl :P

Well it's true, so not flattery but yeah XD
Yeah, regret sucks. I try not to regret anything I've done (which is damn well difficult!!) Your way's probably the best way!
I'm kinda traditional in that sense too, I feel weird asking guys out. Also, I've only wanted one or two guys alot, one I drifted away from and the other I'm still friends with, but over my 'wanting' stage. I've found I'm one of those girls who doesn't 'need' a bf, apart from wanting someone who I can trust fully (I don't trust any of my friends).
I'm rambling D:

I can relate to that, about not "needing" somebody. I'm a pretty happy kid, even without a gf... woah, did I just call myself a kid? :eh?:
Do I get warm and fuzzy thinking about having a girl to cuddle with... yeah, dude! But I can still live without one.

The funny thing is that someday I'm going to meet some girl and I just know I'll end up saying something like "I can't live without you!" after we get really close. I can be analytical about things now, but I'm really a romantic at heart... :acro:

XD Same here! I hide my romantic side very well from everyone, but when I get very close to someone (only happened ever so slightly once) then I'm very romantic (and end up spending a ton of money on them >>)

I'm currently without a true girlfriend but while I am getting by, I'm not going to lie and say that I'm enjoying it or that I'll never need a woman in my life. This ol' heart is so full of secrets, passion, and paternal instincts that it's ready to burst from the strain of holding it all in. Anyway...as I said, I do not have a girlfriend per se, but I do have what you might call a "Dulcinea"--one for whom my heart aches from a distance, perhaps without reciprocation. I believe I related one or two memories involving her in this thread, in fact. :will: I know I'm going to meet "the One" eventually--perhaps I've already met her--but I hope I won't have to wait too long to marry her. I would like to be a father, after all. :phoenix:

Man, yeah, I wouldn't mind a guy spending a little money on me, you know... but there is so much more appeal to spending my own money on me... I don't quite get why that doesn't appeal to more girls... kind of a, "My money... I SHALL BUY WHATEVER I WISH." sort of thing... :yuusaku:

What did you kiss her like that one little boy did to one a few years ago? He got in trouble for doing it and it caused a public uproar against the school (can't remember how it happened exactly though)

Was it something like hitting into her by accident or something? I got in trouble when I was 4ish cos I smacked a guy in the face >> I guess it's worse when you're older.

Here's an...interesting moment I had in my Drama class today.

Okay, so, we were meant to incorporate a prop from the Drama box into our performance. Our group had a mirror, another had a Game Boy Colour...those sorts of things.

Now, one group got this sort of...wooden thing. When you flick it, it makes a cracking sound.

So, for one bit, our teacher stepped out as half of our class prefers to perform in the corridors. This left the other half, including me, in the classroom.

Now, I was lying on a stage box, flat on my back. I suddenly felt it shake a little, and saw that this totally hot and sexyguy from the group with the wooden thing was on his hands and knees, over my body. In his hands WAS the wooden thing...

Then, he said..."[Name], I want you."

And cracked it.

We just stayed in that position awkwardly for about three seconds when one of my friends went "Ooh, that's kinky."

We burst out laughing. XD He only meant it as a joke anyway.

Now, if he had touched any part of my body I prefer hands to be away from, he would be in hospital on life support as we speak.

XD

I'm winding up a guy I know. He got a random text from someone saying something. I got his number from my friend and then texted the same message to him and now he's really confused who's texting him XD I have no clue who texted him the first time, but I let on he knew me and I wasn't called Tom >>; He probably figured it out, but hasn't mentioned it to me yet. I'm gonna let him know for sure it's me soon, so he's not worried he's got two stalkers or something ^^;

I'm also weirdly jelious of a friend's bf, not because I want him, but he keeps taking her attention away from me when I'm talking >=O I think he doesn't like me at all, because whenever I say anything he tries to undermine it infront of her. Ah well, gotta live with it :/

Well, I was walking home from school, which I normally don't do because my house is about five miles away, but I was angry so I didn't care. I was headed south passing by a nearby middle school, when I saw a girl I like (I have previously referred to her as :chinami: ). I chased her to the south side of the school, when I wraped my arms around her. She bit me in the arm, and we eventrually fell into fell onto the ground. The teachers of the middle school saw it and the vice principal called the police. I got off on a warning, I am supended until Wednesday (I shouldn't even be on this site right now. I'm suppose to be writing an essay.), and my parents have talk to me about how to make sure this won't happen again.

HURR. If you're using the term "chase" when it involves a girl it means that UR DOING IT WRONG.

God.

When she bites you, it means that she doesn't want it -__-

Your story makes you sound like a complete fucking creep.

You can't just take someone by force even if you do "just want someone to love." That's not how it works.

That's right. As badly you want someone to hug and care for you and all that stuff, I'm afraid that it will never work out if you use this way of approaching a girl.
You need to kinda "lure the girl in", you need to get closer to her step by step, carefully and slowly.
Imagine it like this:
She stands in a big red circle and you stand outside of it.
If you start talking to her on a regular basis and having some social contact with her, she will notice you and check for herself if she wants to have you closer to her. If she does, she will shrink the circle a bit so you can get a little closer to her and go to the next step like visit her at home and such. And everytime she shares your feelings a bit more, the circle shrinks.

However, if she gives you signals that she did the "check" and doesn't want to have you closer, it's a pity and sad for you, but you have to accept that.
If you are not able to accept that and break into her circle, you're like a predator trying to steal what you want instead of asking for it and convincing somebody to give it to you kindly.
After you broke into her circle, she will feel pretty upset and hurt and perhaps will never allow you to be closer to her.

I hope you will feel better soon and will start to understand.

I had an interesting story with a girl once before. First year, we bothered each other -- then we were assigned seats by each other. We talked, and got to be great friends. Until I started to fall for her (I didn't even like her before hand!) then she got all uneasy.

Then she started to be someone else, and I didn't like her anymore. We were like, enemies later and then just nothing to each other later on.

Yeeeeeep, dealing with the opposite sex is fun.
A vision without action is a dream.
An action without vision is a waste of time.

.....man, I'd throw all kinds of books at you and call you a fucking creep.....but I can't say I don't totally relate, as something kinda similar happened to me when I was a kid(I'll admit to have been an awkward 12 year old, heh), so I'll back off on this one.

There's really nothing else to do but learn from this bad encounter, and never approach a girl like that again.

So, there's this really retarded boy in my class. EVERYONE, not just me, thinks he's retarded.
Well, we were all in gym class, doing our laps one day. I happen to not be very fast, so people kept passing me.
This kid (the retarded one) came running past me, and slammed into my chest area (me is female ^^;) and didn't even apologize. Then later that same gym class, we were playing capture the flag, and when it's my class, we usually just stand there, not doing anything. It's one of those games you can do that. ^^; Anyhow, he was on the other team, and was running over to our side to get the flag... and he crashed right into me. Good thing I had a strong footing - but his knee went into... well the other place a girl doesn't want to be touched besides what I mentioned above. -.-;
So this retarded kid doesn't even attend school half the time, I remember one specific month that he came into school no more than 4 times. I also heard a rumor (not confirmed though) that he *does stuff* in the school bathrooms... not going into detail.

But see, aside from me wanting to move to Japan for reasons relating to obsessions of mine, I'd also like to go there to get away from this... I'd say creepy boy, but I'm not entirely sure he's human... I'd probably rather go to Iraq (yes, during the war) than have to stick around in his class. You all NEVER want to meet him. Just ask any of my friends from school. They will ALL say the same thing. (Not that you all know any of them, but if you did, they'd agree with me.)

Yep, as horrible as that sounds, but it's mostly absolutely correct.
91% of Japanese women and girls which happen to live in big cities like Tokyo have been touched in their special areas while being on the subway at least once.

Agh... that's... really creepy...
But yeah, I've read some really creepy headlines... about stalkers and different things in Japan and it kind of... to use a very odd term... really wigged me out. :sadshoe:
