I'll use damn, crap, hell, goddammit and a whole string of curses all the time, but never use actual swear words. Weird, huh? Lots of people assume that I swear a lot because even in formal situations I curse a lot, but I act more or less the same everywhere; I'll use the same language with my friends as online as at school as at work. |

i sware only a little bit,i really watch it when i'm in front of my mom,when i'm by myself playing video games,i curse a little more,but when my friend and i talk,when our parents aren't in the room...oh boy,my mouth runs a little more freely then it should

I'd like to pretend I didn't, but in reality, I do more than I'd like. I will, however, try to find a better way to express what I need. Not that the words themselves aren't adequete, I've just got my own personal vendetta against them that's inexplicable. |

On the internet and in my mind? Anywhere from every so often to all the time. Out loud? Maybe once a month. I kid you not. It's not even for the sake of not being offensive. It's just, when something makes me swear, my friends know I MEAN it ;P It tends to be a powerful weapon in getting my way >D |

I agree. If you curse your mouth off all the time, nobody takes you seriously when you're seriously annoyed. If you're normally clean, when something really is up, everyone'll pay attention with O.O expressions if you shout an expletive forcefully enough. |

Almost little to none. My friends hardly ever see me mad, but when I swear, they know I'm starting to get pissed and get my point across. I never take people seriously when they swear in every two sentences. =P |

Swears are just words. I don't see what's wrong with them, and I don't see what distinguishes curse words (dick, cock) from more "politically correct" words (penis)... the former would get me in trouble with my teachers/parents while the latter would not. That said I don't swear very often. There's usually much more appropriate words for the situation anyway. Plus when I swear I feel funny, so I try not to. I swear in typing a lot, though. Because uh... I don't get that "funny feeling" I get when saying them out loud. |

All the time. And it's horrible. Like, I don't swear around my parents or my family [and if I do, it's usually just 'crap' or 'damn' and they don't mind at all.] but around my friends, I just go all out, man. XD And while I'm alone. Especially while playing some sort of video game that's extremely difficult. [Like EBA (which I totally got pissed at just a second ago. XD), or Piece of Wonder. Those games get me so fucking MAD at them, it's just non-stop swearing. XD] I really shouldn't swear so much. But my parents swear a whole lot, so maybe that's where I got it. XD I really shouldn't blame my parents for my problems. But denial is fun, so what the hell. |

I swear when an overheated iMac freezes 7 times in every 15 minutes at work in the middle of a deadline. I swear at my home PC when Photoshop is lagging for me. I try to refrain from swearing in front of people and succeed only 60% of the time, otherwise the obscenities are often used to describe certain things and incidents that pissed me off. Online I tend to write typo/phonetic versions of certain swear words just because it looks more interesting to read. |
