In conversation? Never. I've never uttered one curse. Well, maybe I've slipped one or two, but not any that I can remember. That said, when typing online, however, I use it much more leniently. Like, a LOT more. I blind myself to the truth by saying it doesn't count as a curse if you don't say it.  I live in my own little world.

I've never sworn out loud, IRL. In my mind, I swear when I'm angry or really annoyed. But only damn or f**k. Really, I'm not super original when it comes to these things. But the only reason I know half the swear words I know is because of school...gotta love the public school system! |

I don't swear very often.. must be because of my upbringing. My parents had a major aversion to cussing (no, we weren't religious at all). I prefer using words like "wanker", "tosspot" and "bloody idiot". |

I don't often swear, except when I'm playing video games by myself. Strangely, I only seem to swear when it's not too serious (like when a video game is pissing me off)--when I cut myself while cooking or something I say "Flippin' ecker" or "Bloody hell". I guess not swearing has more impact to me than swearing since all my friends do it so much.  I'm actually fascinated by swear and curse words across different cultures though, I would've definitely done a thesis on them if I had majored in linguistics.

I never swear, yet my dad gets so angry at me when I use replacements that technically mean nothing like freak. I felt so mistreated on the subject, I never even say any of the real words yet my cousins utter them all the time. I get in trouble for them being completely idiots. THis happened a while back, but the bottom line is I don't. |

It... depends. If there is alcohol, a lot of friends, or driving involved, my language fucking sucks. If I'm at work, I try to limit the swearing until customers are out of the store or I'm walking out to my car. And, of course, while trying to get a simple point through my aunt's head, I cuss not at all because all my energy is going towards not beating her upside the head for her willful ignorance. And people wonder why I want to live completely on my own for a while. |

I find swearing to be absolutely vile, doesn't stop me from using it excessively in casual conversation. It's a way of restoring my normality in a way. That and if I used my normal vocabulary in everyday conversation I'd get some strange looks. :S |

I don't swear apart from a couple "dammit"s and "What the Hell"s and that's only among my friends. I don't get angry easily and when I do get angry I'm not too aggressive (with words, anyway). "WTF", among my friends, is a bit of an inside joke and stands for "Went to France". XD So we say that instead. XDDD You see, I actually didn't know "Damn" and "Hell" were swearwords before I moved to the US, so I thought it was weird people were stare at me for using them... And I guess they still don't sound like swearwords to me... And I never, ever swear in Portuguese. |

Far too much. I swear... I dunno, but a lot each day, and not just mild ones, the 'c word' (heh, that seems really immature =p) and stuff which would get me in so much trouble if any teachers or my parents were around. =p I just think of them as strong words for strong situations. Though actually, my parents seem OK with me swearing in context. And my Mam doesn't actually consider crap a swearword, though as a kid I thought it was up there with fuck etc. -shrug- |

I swear when I'm with my friends, but never when I'm with my family. It's a bad habit, and I'm trying to get over it (I almost did it last spring  ).The reason is simple: I'm a finn and I speak a lot on a raging speed so I often say wrong words and I have to correct them. I guess I swear to get a little more time to think the words over so I don't have to humiliate myself by saying wrong words instead of what I mean. I know it's not right, but whatcan I do. But I'm still trying to get over it. Maybe I should make my speaking speed slower?

All the fucking time, I even get bored of general swear words so I make my own up or go for words that are equally offensive or combine them ("Cockity fuck!"). Apparently "anus" isn't a swearword but I say that too... If I'm indefinately pissed I'll go on a string of swearing; Cockity fucking anus fucking ass mother fucker!! |

I would have got a smack round the head for any of those as a kid  I like how swearwords are being assimilated more into life these days - we have such a rich language and some swearwords are just so damn fabulous.

My Mum would still have cinniptions if she heard me say it mind you, not that I do very often - that's my ultimate one for when things really go tits up. |

I heard that some Swedish people wants to learn Finnish curse words, because their curse words sound too soft ("fan" or "sjutton också", for example  ).

I curse too much. The only way I can stop is to say stuff like "Frell!" or "Feck!". I use crap, shit, and bastard a lot. I always call my dog "Dumb bitch!" When I'm playing online, every other word will probably be stuff like "Fuck!" and other words which I shall not mention... |

I swear all the time over everything and I like it. If my mobile rings I say 'Who the fuck's that?' before I've even checked the ID =D It's an impulse, like if I drop something or nearly drop something etc. When playing video games I will harshly abuse the characters and the system or contorls or whatever I find wrong to the point of throwing the controller, my language is always likely to deteriorate there ^^; Generally amongst friends we like to greet each other with 'morning fag/slut/fuckit/wanker/fuckstick/[insert imaginative name]' and that's never gonna change. I'm usually slut cause I'm the only girl XD I'd never go off on a swearing rant in front of kids or anything, although have had a few narrow experiences at work around old ladies thank gawd they're so deaf. |
