^ Well, I know that NOW. But I was confused back then. I knew Jesus was His son, but people often classified them as the same person so my tiny brain was pretty much fried from all the confusion.

It was stupid. Hence the childhood element.

"but people often classified them as the same person "
well, yea, but they really are the same entity. Oh, another thing that people can't grasp: God is everywhere.
Yea. Take some time to think that one over. :P

Well when my teacher told us last year, nearly half my class stared out into nothingness cause they couldn't grasp the concept.

Teacher: God is everywhere.
Student: What do you mean He's EVERYWHERE?!?
Teacher: He's everywhere. In your house, in your car, in the school, in the sky. He is everywhere.
Students: O.O

Yea, that's a better way to describe it. He's everywhere, but you can't see Him. Heh. "How to confuse a class full of 15 year olds." XD

Slow people? You know, not everyone is Christian, nor are they familiar with Christian mythology. That doesn't make them slow.

This is true; however, I'm pretty sure that most people in this country know what Noah's Ark is.

This was when I was just getting into anime/manga. One of my early favorite series being Tenchi Muyo.
I wish I could find my old pokemon drawings from even earlier than that. :will:

Also, I remember watching this movie when I was a wee lass. It's one out of a set of children's movies by this company called Wee Sing.

Even still, it has nothing to do with being mentally retarded (or "slow"); it's just a lack of knowledge.

True. However, those taking a Confraternity of Christian Doctrine class would be. XD (Er.,. would be Christian that is, and thus expected to know something like that.)

Hmm... I have boxes upon boxes of... ah... "childhood squees" as apparently they're called, but they're all at home and in storage so I can't think of any particular examples.

I had no idea that CCD stood for that. Even still, some people might have been forced to take the class by their parents and don't have any interest or knowledge themselves. That or they just took the course for other reasons.

Like I said, a lack of knowledge does not mean that one is mentally retarded, so "slow" as it was put. That point is still valid.

Ooh lord I wish I still had my old drawings. I had pictures of Inspector Gadget, Garfield, Super Mario, Batman, Superman, etc. Good times. One thing from my childhood is that I used to love listening to Michael Jackson (before he became weird). Good Times. My dad also had a car that looked like the Gadget Mobile. and then there was Popeye, my longest lasting fandom. I liked him since I was three. I remember alot of my childhood. GO 90'S!! I watched Fresh Prince then too. Every day after Batman finished.
