IMMA' FIRIN' MAH SHOE :snackood:

If he makes it into office. The're still looking into where he was born:
http://stuckon-stupid.com/2008/11/23/ob ... s-citizen/

If he doesn't... Then we know it was a plant. Get ready for Martial law and the NWO.

As some people are saying.

And i still think a lot of people didn't vote because of his platform. They did it so they could say they had a hand in making history (the media is to blame for this). And he has allready presented some bad ideas that's gonna make him unpopular.

There is one thing about that incident that isn't covered by a lot of read left wing news outlets. The fact that had that guy done that while Saddam was still in power he would've been drug out of there and shot or be-headed on the spot. That's one thing that guy didn't think of.

I guess there's parody games of it popping up everywhere now. And Youtube's getting flooded by people posting the same video over and over.

He kind of deserved it. The news that went with it was basically "we went into Iraq without a plan and fucked up majorly, wasting billions of dollars". So yeah.

I, for one, find both Alex Jones and this Bush vs. Shoes fiasco hilarious. Anybody notice that the Secret Service did nothing when the first shoe was thrown, but as soon as the reporter took off his second shoe they sprang?

Well for one thing many conspiracy guru's are sure Alex is a plant by the Illuminati, to make people view them as nutjobs.

What's this I'm hearing? The shoes hit him? I heard they missed. Am I seeing some collective wishful thinking here? If liberals wish to be trusted with running the country and especially with bringing peace to the world, they'd best learn to keep their violent fantasies under control. He who would discipline others must first discipline himself.

Does anyone seriously think that Obama is not going to be expected to act the part of UN puppet? No US President--Republican or Democrat--has ever escaped that "do as we say" attitude and it's not going to stop now. The Arabs taunted Jimmy Carter mercilessly and you can bet your bottom dollar they're going to do the same thing to Obama. That is, if the gay lobby doesn't kill him first. He made them pretty mad when he chose Rick Warren to give the invocation...

Edit: Read first post too quickly. He was "nearly" hit. That makes more sense. I hereby retract my first four sentences.

Bush's epic projectile-dodgin' skills caused him to dodge the shoe.

Just as he repeatedly dodges the Law being throw at him.

I doubt you've ever watched it. It's a pretty normal news station, except they're obviously Arabic and all. Quoting from Wikipedia;

Quote:
While prior to September 11, 2001, the United States government had lauded Al Jazeera for its role as an independent media outlet in the Middle East, US officials have since claimed an anti-American bias to Al Jazeera's news coverage.

I posted this the day after it happened in the news topic.

If nothing happens to the guy, there's something wrong with the Iraqi government. Throwing shoes at people, especially foreign leaders, isn't freedom of speech. It's an attack.

Bias DOES play a part sometimes (as with pretty much all news stations), but here they were just interviewing random people on the street (apparently) and this was the only guy to have said anything suggesting happiness about Bushs' ordeal.

Yeah, I know he's being charged with assaulting him, which means that he'll face jail time. I also know that he's allegedly been beaten, but I haven't read much on that.

I think he'll probably get a lesser sentence though, since I don't think the Iraqi government wants to risk upsetting anyone.

Like i said before he's lucky Saddam isn't still in power. Had it been him or any other Iraqi official he did that to he'd allready be dead.

I wonder how come Bush managed to dodge both the shots. I mean, who would see that coming?

Also, apparently, in Iraq, throwing shoes at people is a big offence, so that's why the guy tossed the shoes.

I wonder what happened to him after the two throws, though. He completely vanished, as if... He was trampled by all the people that stood up.
EDIT: This gif answers my question. Maybe. :yuusaku:

I hate Bush. I hate his guts. I wouldn't wish death on him, but I hate him so much.

But God, this was just...so stupid. I can't believe so many people are praising this guy. You don't make a point by throwing footwear at people. I don't care if it's a major insult in that country, that's pretty counter-intuitive. It makes you look almost as moronic as him. You wanna protest his asshattery? Go do it politically. Don't throw your shoes.

[Oh, and I support Obama all the way, but I'm not ready to say he'll be at Lincoln Level until he's actually in power and doing stuff for the country as the President.]

Be honest: What did more people take note of: Political debates with Bush to show him to be stupid, or throwing shoes to show him to be stupid?

Now, he isn't a politician, is he? It's not like this is the only thing he has done anyway. The guy has been a critic of Bush and the war in Iraq media for a long time.

Whatever will our friendly neighborhood shoe throwers do when George W. Bush leaves office? What exactly is it about Mr. Bush that makes them so mad, anyway? Ronald Reagan he ain't... :yogi:

On the subject of punchable politicians, however, I must admit that I wouldn't mind seeing someone give Mark Ritchie or Al Franken a good knife-hand chop to the throat right about now. Minnesota's Democrats owe the free world an explanation...

Quoted for Truth

Well, I guess people are going to use this for the pointless and untrue "Bush is an idiot" argument. Bush got shoes thrown at him, he ducked like any normal person would. But one thing I noticed, BUSH DIDN'T CARE THAT SHOES WERE BEING THROWN AT HIM, he had a smile on his face as soon as the first shoe was thrown. I thought he took it well, he didn't go out cursing the Iraqis, he ducked and was laughing the entire time.

I really think this shows something about his character. And I swear to god if someone takes this and turns it into the following argument: Well then obviously Bush doesn't care about the presidency or the nation and etc. etc., I will forever lose all respect for them, 1) For using an argument that I've already pointed out (because Liberals make stupid and pointless arguments like that.) and 2) There's no evidence to justify it.
