From the looks of it, it's getting really popular. I just started reading The Gunslinger last week and am about 30 pages away from finishing The Drawing of the Three right now. Anyone else reading or read them? I've also been wondering if a movie of it might work. Weirdly enough, I've been thinking that it's like a Back to the Future and Kingdom Hearts mix, but with a main character more like Clint Eastwood and much more realistic characters and settings.

I suppose we could talk about other Stephen King books too. I haven't read his stuff again until recently. I just finished Pet Sematary (kickass book). I've read Misery (6 years ago) and It (4 years ago), but as you can see, it's been a while. All were great books.

Considering that Marvel is releasing a limited series on the ultimate universe, I do believe showcasing how the Gunslinger was born, it might be a good read for you once it's in TPB format.

Yeah, I'm probably going to preorder that. If I'm going to read the whole series, I might as well know everything about it (I'm all perfectionist-like about things and have to know and do everything in the area of what I start). I just finished The Drawing of the Three, so I'll start The Waste Lands tomorrow. It's getting pretty good, and seems like something that really would work in comic/manga form. I'm so glad he got rid of the racist black woman though. She was funny, but got very annoying at times.
