Well, I was certain that my pen drive/USB stick/etc. had a lot of things in it. But I just stuck it into my computer and it says it's empty however on the pie chart capacity thing it says it's full but no folders show up.

I have:
a)Put it into another computer and trie the same, but it just asks if I want to format it and that it's empty.

Can anyone help?

Your files have been corrupted.

I'm going to assume you use WinXP.

1. Go to Tools > Folder options.
2. In the Folder Options dialog box, open the View tab.
3. CHECK "Show hidden files and folders", and UNCHECK "Hide extensions for known file types" and "Hide protected operating system files".

This should reveal any potentially recovered files in your drive, which is the stuff taking up space. Unfortunately, they're all gonna be with scrambled names and stuff, so you're gonna have to toy around to figure out which file is which.

Although it might just be that you didn't insert it properly. It sometimes happens when i try to access my MicroSD.
