I did kendo for a ridiculously long time (I was very, very good), as well as dabbled in the other arts the school offered. I have a black belt in taekwondo but nobody gives a shit about that since everyone does

I box now, but I'm a particularly thin person so I don't have a lot of physical strength to do well, although my body's muscles are pretty well-conditioned. I don't like bulking up, so it'll never be more than a side-hobby/sport

You should fly to Japan and become the boxing king of the far east. Everyone's pretty slim here.

Well, I used to take Taekwondo when I was a kid; furthest I went to was green belt but then I moved too far from the place to continue.

I'd want to try out muay thai, but I have a really bad fear of breaking my shins.

I do not see Geek-fu in the selection of martial arts.

I've been trying for the longest time to get into capoeira, since I have a friend that became a Maestre several years ago, but between his schedules and mine there's hardly any time to fix up consistent training sessions.

For a guy of my weight and height, I'm rather agile, and getting told that by him was partly what influenced me to get into it. I just need to shed off a few pounds. =p

I did Taekwondo for 5 years I think. I have the green-blue belt (...or whatever it's called in English :keiko:)
But then I moved to another city...and unfortunately I'm not going to train anymore because of my injured knee :sob:

I dont do martial arts anymore, but I'm kinda looking to start again as I love them so much.
I did Judo for a year and got a red belt (it was a year then the exam, the sensei said I couldve advanced faster) and then a bit later on I did karate for a few months and got a red belt, but had to quit because of my GCSEs.
Exams ruin everything >=O

I did Karate for a couple of years and got up to green belt. I had to stop though because I moved countries. I would like to start it again however.

Haha ilyedgey so excited about that blue belt you triple posted :redd:

When I was little my little brother wanted to do Karate but the classes were full and all that was left was Judo. So my dad tried to force my brother to do Judo but he started crying so we went home.

But I said I would do Judo but my dad wouldn't let me, he thought I should do dance instead ¬_¬

/hmm interesting.

I did Taekwondo for a few months and could've gotten my yellow belt, but I then I went to the Philppines for my cousin's wedding and when I got back, the track season was starting so I never continued. I really want to get into Escrima, though. After my dad told me how he'd watch Escrima people training back in the Philippines and go "WTF," I really wanted to try. There aren't any places that teach it that're close to my house though... ;__;
