A certain thread was getting way too out of hand spam-wise.

Continued HERE!

@Mods: I ran a search first to see if there was already a thread for this.

They are. Although I think that a mod might try to claim that the "Encounters with any SEXY SEX" topic is the same thing, it is not. Trust me.

So, yeah. I'm single, always have been, don't really expect that to change anytime ever soon.

Who wouldn't. :welly:

But seriously, even beyond our immediate conversation, the thread was being spammed with IRL dating-related posts.

For once, I'm trying to curb the spam instead of add to it. :godot:

I could say that I was very desperate at the time. I saw a lot of couples at the time (none of those people are still together, though) and thought "hey i want that feeling of loooooooove".

Wasn't love, though.

I haven't met anyone new lately, so I guess it's going to be a while before I find someone who's interested in me.

One of my friends dated a guy online. I just don't think you could possible have a relationship like that... maybe my idea of a relationship is different to people who do so, but I mean... I couldn't be dating a guy and not be in his presence, y'know? Just doesn't seem natural.

My thoughts on long-distance relationships are the same. Well, depending on the distance.

Alot of things is attitude and outlook, if you are walking around labeling everyone and everything with words and tags liek 'boring' 'slut' 'skank' 'too good for me' etc etc then you have made up your mind and thus your approach and the way you appear before you even said 'Nice weather, eh?'.

I do find this thread funny, but we all need an ego boast here and there, even if it is across a few miles to a few thousand miles from people far far away, in some cases a different universe!

I am not bothering with tags or trying to stay too on topic because frankly my dear, I do not give a damn.

Yes, saying you would give whats his face and Mr Milton Keynes a go is kind of slutty sounding but we know that is not what you mean sooo forgive! :redd:

Phew... I am terrible dating, I get nervous and say things which I am not thinking and never relax much BUT I always leave an impression HAHA, though lately I seem to be upsetting peoples parents more than anything, gosh golly.

Scratch it, Maka is right.. give things a go and see.. just do not get TOO attached too fast, things might seem to be going ok on one end but BAM, you are hitting a roadblock on the other, CRASH BANG etc.

Glomping is dangerous by the way.

I would not worry too much about how crap your dating life is till you reach, oh say, my age, before then just date whatever and see what is what and how it goes.

Myself, I think Loob should take me out for drinks (is not skint at the moment, oh no...)

No idea what i've covered up to now and frankly I doubt anyone cares.

And on-topic, does anyone ever wonder how those internet sites (porn or no) that have the "Get With A Local Girl Tonight!" ads that have the pictures of girls and an age and says they live in a nearby city get that information? Do they read the cookies and randomly place info, or do people actually register on those things?

I personally always thought those were virus bins so I never clicked any of them, but it just makes me wonder..... :eh?:

Actually, my estranged sister's foster brother/my Video Editing teacher wound up marrying a girl he met on WOW. They've been happily married since.

Yes, saying you would give whats his face and Mr Milton Keynes a go is kind of slutty sounding but we know that is not what you mean sooo forgive! :redd:

LOL, I tried to put it in a non-slutty way but I failed. I was trying to say something like... if one of my exes were as interesting to talk to as you guys (and you TC! XD), maybe our relationship would have gone a little better. Does that sound nicer now? :P

LOLOL

Yeah. I usually keep it to myself. I used to be ashamed of it, but now, I've accepted my past.

I'd prefer a relationship to be in person myself, actually. Well, I do now, at least.

Online dating is stupid to me (although it doesn't matter, I'm only 13 yet again). I'd rather find someone for myself then have someone i don't know find it for me...

It wasn't that "someone else found it for me." I found the person myself (not by means of dating service). On the other hand, I agree with what you are saying. Mostly.

A friend of mine was dating a girl from Colorado. They met online and were dating for a while. They have seen each other in person quite a few times in the past. Now, she lives with him (They aren't staying for long; he's going elsewhere soon and she's going with him) and they're engaged to be married. The guy has been in bad relationships before they started dating, so it's nice to see that he's found someone that makes him happy. I never thought that it would be someone that he met online, though.

Here's some Nozomu-style advice: ask yourself first why it is you want to go out with any of them in the first place. That'll probably cut your list down to size.
