A person's avatar is a represention of themsevles that everyone on the internet can see. The avatar should have some reflect of the person using it. All I'm seeing is that you are just like giving people the finger. An avatar also should avoid offending anyone which may be hard to do but.
Most people don't have their avatars made in Paint anymore but if they do, don't completely shun them. They tried which is better than some people. Remember, not everyone has Photoshop or another popular photo editing program. Plus, you can always ask someone to me an avatar for you depending on the request.
