After reading the award-winning book, The Westing Game, a sudden thought came to mind...

...What if, now bear with me on this, what if I made a Phoenix Wright version of the book?

Spoiler: About The Westing Game.
The Westing Game, if I can remember correctly is about the apparent murder of Samuel Westing, who, in his will, has everyone in a hotel play a game where you recieve clues and attempt to guess who in the hotel murdered Westing.

Spoiler: Wikipedia Article
Sixteen individuals, of all ages, races, and socioeconomic classes, most of whom live or work in the Sunset Towers apartment building, are summoned to the reading of the will of wealthy industrialist Samuel W. Westing. The will takes the form of a puzzle, dividing up the sixteen heirs into eight pairs, giving each pair a unique set of clues, and challenging the heirs to solve the mystery of which of the sixteen of them killed Westing; whoever solves the mystery will inherit Westing's $200,000,000 fortune. Friendships between the sixteen heirs are made, broken, and mended as each pair attempts to pursue the solution in their own way. As the participants' wild accusations fly, only one heir solves the puzzle.

Discuss, if of course you read the book.

I've read the book, and I loved it. I could see it working out, but only if there's a new cast. I don't really remember exactly, but in the book, the 'players' are very loosely associated with Westing, so if we have, say, Nick be the equivalent of him, most of the characters would have to be replaced. Although I could be completely wrong. =P I haven't read that book in a lonngg time.

:hobohodo: = Eastman while :phoenix: = Westing?

I think I'll re-read the book and get back on this. It'd be a cool idea. If anything, make it into a fanfic.

Erm, if this is just to make a PW version, this would belong in the Defendant Lobby.

This will most likely be part of a series of cases, so what I could do is make Turtle the attorney for the cases, and they all lead to the final case which is like most of the games. Make the first case Turtle's first real trial, the next few cases take place years afterwords, who will be our Westing, then the final case the book. Oh wow...this will be interesting to make...
