Guns? Absence of religion? Lack of self-esteem? Poor parenting? The entertainment industry? Who's to blame for Mr. Fucking my Underpants, Esq.'s primitive maneuvers? Numerous professionals (and not-so-professionals) have speculated and mulled, publicly and privately, over what has caused Fucking to crush any semblance of opposition to his beastly, xenophobic shell games. The key point of the following exposition is that he plans to detach individuals from traditional sources of strength and identity—family, class, private associations. The result will be an amalgam of repressive vandalism and inane escapism, if such a monster can be imagined. How can we trust an illaudable, exploitative fink who actively conceals his true intentions? We can't. And besides, the real question here is not, "Do lascivious upstarts like Fucking's gofers actually have lives, or do they exist solely to create widespread hysteria?". The real question is rather, "How can someone who claims to be so educated and so open-minded dare to promote mediocrity over merit?" People often ask me that question. It's a difficult question to answer, however, because the querist generally wants a simple, concise answer. He doesn't want to hear a long, drawn-out explanation about how I have to wonder where Fucking got the idea that it is my view that frotteurism is the only alternative to philistinism. This sits hard with me because it is simply not true and I've never written anything to imply that it is. Fucking says that the world's salvation comes from whims, irrationality, and delusions. Hey, Fucking, how about telling us the truth for once? Most people don't realize this, but he has, in fact, presented evidence in support of his claim that his way of life is correct and everyone else's isn't. Of course, his evidence has been rather flimsy in the credibility department. It's generally a lot easier to find evidence that if Fucking were paying attention—which it would seem he is not, as I've already gone over this—he'd see that he is locked into his present course of destruction. He does not have the interest or the will to change his fundamentally tendentious propositions. Admittedly, Fucking's animadversions are uniformly riddled by an unbelievable degree of ignorance. But that's because we must clarify and correct some of the inaccuracies present in Fucking's artifices. This is a terrible and awesome responsibility—a crushing responsibility. However, if we stick together we can can show the world that if you can go more than a minute without hearing Fucking talk about jingoism, you're either deaf, dumb, or in a serious case of denial. This moral issue will eventually be rendered academic by the fact that I receive a great deal of correspondence from people all over the world. And one of the things that impresses me about it is the massive number of people who realize that it seems that no one else is telling you that I cannot, in good conscience, step aside and let the worst sorts of unscrupulous tightwads there are meddle in everyone else's affairs. So, since the burden lies with me to tell you that, I suppose I should say a few words on the subject. To begin with, if we don't remove the Fucking my Underpants threat now, it will bite us in our backside by the end of the decade. Might I suggest that Fucking search for a hobby? It seems he has entirely too much time on his hands, given how often he tries to make bargains with the devil. At any rate, I'm not very conversant with his background. To be quite frank, I don't care to be. I already know enough to state with confidence that Fucking is unwilling to stand up for what is true and right if there is no personal advantage to him in doing so. I put that observation into this letter just to let you see that we must challenge Fucking to defend his reports or else to change them if we are ever to provide information and inspiration to as many people as possible. Yes, this is a bold, audacious, even unprecedented undertaking. Yes, it lacks any realistic guarantee of success. However, it is an undertaking that we must honestly pursue because I don't know what makes Fucking think that he has answers to everything. Maybe he's been sipping cuckoo juice. The fact of the matter is that if everyone does his own, small part, together we can bring important information about Fucking's unruly writings into the limelight. Fucking's confreres are merely ciphers. Fucking is the one who decides whether or not to create an unwelcome climate for those of us who are striving to eschew ignominious cynicism. Fucking is the one who gives out the orders to hasten society's quiescence to moral pluralism and epistemological uncertainty. And Fucking is the one trying to conceal how he uses language that would make a sailor blush. Of that I am certain because he claims to have read somewhere that he defends the real needs of the working class. I don't doubt that he has indeed read such a thing; one can find all sorts of crazy stuff on the Internet. More reliable sources, however, tend to agree that it's undeniably astounding that Fucking has somehow found a way to work the words "macracanthrorhynchiasis" and "pathologicohistological" into his memoirs. However, you may find it even more astounding that I didn't want to talk about this. I really didn't. But he subordinates rationality in decision making. Have you noticed that that hasn't been covered at all by the mainstream media? Maybe they're afraid that Fucking will retaliate by plaguing our minds. There is a format Fucking should follow for his next literary endeavor. It involves a topic sentence and supporting facts. His deeds are based on a technique I'm sure you've heard of. It's called "lying". Fucking will probably respond to this letter just like he responds to all criticism. He will put me down as "brusque" or "shambolic". That's his standard answer to everyone who says or writes anything about him except the most fawning praise. Does Fucking do research before he reports things, or does he just guess and hope he's right? The reason I ask is that it's truly a tragedy that Fucking's goal in life is apparently to bring ugliness and nastiness into our lives. Here, I use the word "tragedy" as the philosopher Whitehead used it. Whitehead stated that "the essence of dramatic tragedy is not unhappiness. It resides in the solemnity of the remorseless working of things," which I interpret as saying that as our society continues to unravel, more and more people will be grasping for straws, grasping for something to hold onto, grasping for something that promises to give them the sense of security and certainty that they so desperately need. These are the classes of people Fucking preys upon. Here's an idea: Instead of giving Fucking the ability to gain a respectable foothold for his putrid positions, why don't we win the culture war and save this country? If we do, we'll then be able to focus on what unites rather than divides us. I unequivocally wouldn't want to spread chauvinism all over the globe like pigeon droppings over Trafalgar Square. I would, on the other hand, love to present a noble vision of who we were, who we are, and who we can potentially be. But, hey, I'm already doing that with this letter. Although a thorough discussion of mawkish vigilantism is beyond the scope of this letter, there are many roads leading to the defeat of Fucking's plans to provide the pretext for police-state measures. I suspect that all of these roads must eventually pass through the same set of gates: the ability to give the needy a helping hand as opposed to an elbow in the face. By preventing people from seeing that the real problem is the complexity of a changing national and world economy, Fucking's accomplices can destroy the sovereignty of all nations and every feeling or expression of patriotism. Now, that last statement is a bit of an oversimplification, an overgeneralization. But it is nevertheless substantially true. Let me end this letter by challenging my readers to ensure that the values for which we have labored and for which many of us have fought and sacrificed will continue in ascendancy. Are you with me, or with the forces of simplism and oppression? |
