Post subject:  Crayon Shin-Chan Creator found dead
The body of Yoshito Usui was found at Arafune & the cause of death were collapsed lungs (most likely due to the fact that he tried to climb the mountain). More here:

Shin Chan was such a funny show too. I wonder if they'll find a replacement to continue the series.

I totally grew up on Shin-chan; it was very popular in Thailand and it was my favorite thing ever (aside from Pokemon) to watch whenever I visited my relatives there.

That's really sad...

Aww, damn. I grew up with the Shin-Chan anime, I used to watch the Latin American dub on TV with my mum... Good times.
I still watch it, from time to time, and I still find it as funny as it used to be :')

My face transformed when I read the thread's title...

Damn, that's really sad :( I never heard of the guy himself, but I enjoyed Shin Chan when I was younger. Rest In Peace, Yoshito Usui.

Oh man, everyone who been dieing I just either don't know or just didn't really care about them when they were alive. But this one...is just a stab to the heart. It would of been nice that the people who is bring the manga over catch up to where ever the Japanese one is(I wanted to see Hime,The rich girl and her bodyguard and the third teacher) but now it be nice if they take there time now. I wish the series would have a nice ending but since the creator isn't here anymore it probably gonna feel like someone put a to be continue on the latest chapter and stopped releasing.

Shin Chan was sort of funny and very perverted, this is kind of sad news indeed. Scary is the whole mobile phone tracking thing, we are always being watched? Wooo.

Hmm, no, I can not cheer myself up with making light of goverment big brother tactics etc.

Just the english dub was funny and perverted. The actual japanese cartoon was a kid's cartoon.

So the manga is ending but the anime is continuing on. It be nice if the manga continues also. The anime keeps on going is nice but I can't view it. It be nice if some anime company translate the WHOLE thing from the beginning and keep it to the original has much as possible.

The manga can't keep going on. The creator is dead. To have some assistant of his become the author would be terrible and the series would surely decline very, very rapidly in quality.
