I have to show the board of education I'm actually homeschooling, and with them it is a game of bluff, because I do really DO the science and history, I just don't always write stuff down, but my AC math and English is so above my level that I dazzle them. Actual transcript of last year's conversation:
Me: So here is the research paper for Level 1 English I did. (I got like, a B on it, but it was my B because I did not let my mom help me. 7 pages long, single spaced, internal citations, refrences page (which is how I got the B, because I botched the refrences page), 50 note cards, and at least 5 sources, two of which must be bibliography, and no using Wikipedia as a source.)
Her: ( To my mom) You didn't help him?
Mom: Help him? He wouldn't let me! If he did, he would have gotten a higher grade!
Her: Our graduates can't do this. (Keep in mind, I was a year younger back then).
Me: Then I guess there is no reason for me to attend your schools.

This is the second time this month I've been sick. I couldn't stop sneezing
all day in school and my nose ran like a leaky faucet. I felt like getting out of school and going home because of how bad I felt, but for me, even just missing a few classes could mean a lot of catch-up work, so I soldiered it out.Thank God tomorrow's Friday!
