I heard about this. It was 8.8, right? That's terrible. We've had too many earthquakes recently.
I wonder if Edgeworth felt any of them
Excuse me, couldn't resist making a bad joke. :payne:

Seriously, though, there are too many earthquakes.
Say, that reminds me of a puzzle! Have you ever heard this one, Luke?

Yeah, we got Tsunami advisories here in SF and all the way up to Washington. Nothing too noticeable, though.

Edit: Apparently the tsunami in Hawaii wasn't that bad. :]

Wait, I'm confused. Was there or wasn't there a tsunami?
Also, I wonder how Edgeworth feels about Tsunamis...

I swear to God the first thing I thought when I heard about this was Edgeworth. I am such a horrible human being.

6th strongest earthquake of all time, apparently. Thank God, the victims were just around 300, when they could have been many, many more.

Still, this is sad shit.

I expected something like this, the earthquakes are only going to get worse until 2012 ends it all.

Just recently we enable electric current (This morning we gave the water) :sadshoe: .

I live in Region V (Valparaiso Region), in the city of Quillota. Here the quake was of little more than grade 7, was impressive to see how my house swaying from side to side, giving the impression that at any moment everything fell apart. Luckily no major damage in the structure of the house, and my family are all well, although we had a good night (The quake was between 3 and 4 o'clock).

Unfortunately, the confirmed death toll stands the 700 (Y are many still missing). Right now is when one begins to appreciate life :larry: .

I apologize for my English, I speak Spanish.

We got tsunami warnings here in New Zealand, seeing as we're directly across the Pacific from Chile. The Dragon-boating festival was cancelled because of it.

In Mindanao, the third Philippine "island" apart from Luzon and Visayas, there was a tsunami, though thankfully not that high. Earthquakes are only natural, but this El Nino is the most major phenomenon at this time caused by globally impacting human activities which may cause even more trouble ((though I don't think the end will be in two years, or at least not yet)).
I've been away for far too long.
So long, in fact, that all of my signatures now exist behind a paywall.
Bummer.
