Looked around and there is no thread for this.

This is for weird news as the title implies.
Ill get the ball rolling.

In a trailer park in Alabama a man killed his wife, children and two neighbors with a shotgun all because his wife burnt his toast. After he killed his family and neighbors he turned the gun on himself and shot himself.
Lovely man.

This is about 6 months old and i don't have the link any more, but i read an article on the BBC science section about toothbrushes being developed that record how many times a day you brush your teeth and sends the data to be published to your family and friends to shame those who don't brush often enough.

Methinks consumer research is getting less subtle.
