Well, on Saturday we had a few tornadoes touch down just outside of Winnipeg, and a day prior to that we had a tornado or two touch down yet again.

The first one(s) destroyed about four houses, and the second time on Saturday, picked up a 27 foot trailer, flipped it upside down and threw it to the ground.
It also destroyed some house(s) as well.
We've had prime tornado weather the past two to three days; heavy rain, high winds, and low clouds. We're also expecting rain and thunderstorms for all of this week as well.
Nice weather for the last week of "school" for me, eh?

WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and son were found dead Monday in their home in Fayetteville, Georgia and police say they are investigating it as a murder-suicide.
My husband came across this yesterday while surfing on the Net--we couldn't believe it! Very tragic. :(

Here's a link to the story..

Well, from what ads have told me, the iPhone can look online for seafood restaurants, show a map of where seafood restaurants are near you, look up the phone number of the place, and call it.

It's sort of neat I guess, but I don't .. really use phones.

I don't really like cell phones that much, so there is no need for me to have one.

There was a grenade attack or two here in Ireland. 12 families were evacuated from their houses after the latest attack in a residential area of Dublin. Associates of a man stabbed to death in Mountjoy Prison this week are believed to be behind the attack which took place on an innocent woman's house. Fears of a new criminal feud have now emerged following the attack.

Said woman wasn't at home when the grenade exploded outside her home at 11:15pm. The attack was the second incident involving grenade's in a residential area in 48 hours. Homes were evacuted in the area around the Coombe Hospital on Tuesday night. (26th).

I hope you guys in Ireland and London will be ok. I heard about the police finding the car bombs in London the other day and...well every summer where I live we have to be on alert for huricanes and ready to board-up the house or leave on a moments notice. Liveing under that kind of threat is difficult but haveing to worry about terrorisim in daily life, I cant imagian how difficult it must be. I really hope things will be ok for you.

Now here is the story of a retired game warden and his pet hippo Jessica.

In serious news, a flaming car crashed into the Glasgow Airport. Currently, it is not believed to be an accident, but a terrorist attack. There are no reports of any deaths, as of right now though. More info on that from the BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/scotland/6257194.stm

And just because it's kinda weird.. A one eyed alligator pulled a golfer (with the surname of Burger) into a pond on the golf course when the man reached in to retrieve his golf ball. No serious injuries to Mr. Burger though.

Yea, the bombs found in London hurt no-one as they were'nt detonated, and the UK's terror threat is up to critical, but it's not a daily worry for us citizens.
As for glasgow, I don't think anyone was hurt in the flaming car incident fortunatley.

For fans of Ancient Egypt, you might find these two links interesting. :)
