Since I don't feel arsed to revive a topic over 2 years old and people's actions might have possibly changed since then and we got a new influx of people and all that jazz, I'm starting this new topic here. So post. What are your hobbies? What do you guys like to do?

As for me personally, I love to draw and sing in my spare time, more of the former. I also enjoy occasionally reading enjoyable books.

So here is a topic for all you people to drone on here about your lives. Please don't spam it. =) Now discuss!

In my spare time (which isn't much) I draw, occasionally compose music, write (stories, I working on a trilogy) play piano and recently I'm doing some sewing. I don't read much either. I can never finish books I start. I would love to have singing lessons, but I can't sing at all. How about everyone else?

I wonder if masturbation counts as a hobby :think-pw:

Besides the obvious geeky ones I'm a bit of a budding amateur game, or more specifically, RPG developer. Use an engine series called...RPG Maker. Crazy.

Also I go to pub quizzes several times a week but I'm not sure if that counts as a hobby.

My hobbies? I like to play the piano and draw in my free time.

Also this is a weird one, but when I'm bored, I just go down to my basement and take shots with my hockey stick.

Hey guess what guys, I DRAW TOO! Although I think almost everyone here does ¬_¬ But I am doing a comic...that's slightly different right? <:\
Aside from that I enjoy playing the keyboard and trying to learn songs I know in my head so I can play them. I haven't learnt any PW/AJ/AAI music yet but when i discover how to play a tune, you'll be informed.

I also write short stories. A lot of it is fiction...

The good thing about college is that I can work with my hobbies. This is my last year at college, hoping to do a creative writing course at some point. I loved drawing, but I love making jewelly and clay tiles the most. Also love doing graphics and spriting.

I also love writing. I'd love to finish a novel at some point. I've had poems published in the past. Reading and playing video games is also something I like doing.

Swimming is my favorite sport. I do that a lot, mainly once a week but sometimes it's twice now cause I sometimes go into the pool to relax from an hours work-out.

I'd love to work in the music industry but I have no musical skills of my own.

I have some pretty standard hobbies.

-Drawing, I kind of suck at drawing, but I like to do it anyway. It alleviates my boredom so I have something to do.

-Playing Video Games, but only when I have a new one. If I've beaten any game I just got I usually get quickly bored of it and move on to something else.

-Using the Internet, Often I screw around between Forums, Facebook, and other internet outlets. Recently I've been looking things up on Cracked and have also taken a liking to TV Tropes.

-Video Game Music, when I lived in my Dad's house I would try playing simple game themes on the piano. It didn't work very well as my musical talent is equivalent to goat cheese, but it was the only thing I liked about having a piano. I also have a little over 100 video game related songs on my phone and I listen to nothing else.

-Masturbation, teehee.

All of these hobbies have had something to do with Pokemon at some point. (For the masturbation hobby, there ARE humans in Pokemon. Female ones I might add. :P)

Umm, let's see...
-I like to draw, but I'm not that good at it DX
- Make up dances to my favorite songs. I'm not good at that either, but it's good exercise since I quit Irish dancing like, 2 years ago. I also like to teach myself dances.
-Play my DS every night before I go to sleep. I'm playing Gardening Mama right now XD
-Browse a bunch of random websites and watch videos on Youtube. I also enjoy looking things up on Wikipedia and Tvtropes.
-When I have enough money, I love shopping.
-Cooking, but usually just Korean food. I like it because it's really flavorful and can be really spicy :pearl:
-Sometimes I'll play my PS2 or Wii.
-Fangirling over Super Junior :bellboy:
-I also like playing with my make up and taking pics :3

You guys. Masturbation is NOT a hobby. It's just something you guys do because you can't get a date for the weekend. =/

Suppose if we're including exercise into the mix of hobbies, I really enjoy walking and swimming with the occasional biking too. Nothing beats going outside in nice, cool, clear weather or the feeling of weightlessness as you relax in a pool.

It's habit forming, and I'm engaged. When I want to feel good, I don't call up my fiance and say 'fuck me', because that's whorish. And add to that, relations are meant to last more than a weekend.

Well... besides that one...
- writing (I'm working on my first fanfic ever!)
- reading (especially thrillers, horror and detective series...)
- piano (my teacher is expecting too much... better start practicing more...)
- listing to music (The Beatles, CCR, Goo Goo Dolls,...)
- And... here's a weird one... I love to read and hear about the most gruesome murder cases in the paper... (that doesn't really count as a hobby though...)
- I look forward to watching detective series on saturday (I really liked the Gently series, and Foyle)
- I also fool around on photoshop too much
- posting and lurking on this forum (sad huh)
- and of course the obvious one: gaming

I write. A lot. And not the type of writing I'd assume most of you would enjoy doing.

I like writing essays and editorials believe it or not. Most are later converted into article format for my school newspaper. Some are saved in an obscure folder on my desktop, never to see the light of day again. I also like to submit letters to Maclean's magazine (some of which have been published :redd: ) and contribute to the old blog every once in a while.

On top of that, I have an undying fascination with Chopin. There is nothing more beautiful than the poetry of his Nocturnes :acro: . When I am not playing the piano, I like to listen to it- often in the background while doing my writing.

Finally, who could forget video games :sal: That is, after all, the reason I'm posting on this very forum.

My hobbies? Well...

-Ever since I was little, when I first learned how to pick up a pencil, I loved drawing and writing. Though I got a bit discouraged from doing art for a long time when people used to tell me in school that my art was weird and not "realistic enough". I feel like I was praised more for my writing, which is something I feel the most confident in.

-This is sort of related to art, but I LOVE Photoshopping. I first learned how to use it in my last year of middle/junior high school (grade 8), and I've made all sorts of things with it- From desktop wallpapers, avatars/signatures for forums, animations, photo manipulations, and more recently, sprites.

-Video games. My favorite genres are platformers, RPGs, Fighting/Beat 'Em Ups, Rhythm/Music (Parappa The Rapper being my personal fave of this genre), and, thanks to Ace Attorney, visual novels.

-Listening to and playing music. I've always loved music. My mom told me she put headphones on her belly and listen to people such as Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, classical composers such as Mozart and Chopin, and probably more. I have a VERY varied taste in music. I go from listening to J-Pop to Country just like that. The only genre I really don't like is rap.

-Reading. Always loved it, always will. I remember the first book I read by myself when I was little was "The Foot Book" by Dr. Suess <3

-Foreign Languages. Ever since I was little I was always fascinated by other languages. In high school I took Japanese during years 10-12, and I loved it. Since my current university does not offer Japanese (But it offers Chinese WTF), I've decided on taking Italian next semester to satisfy the 2 semesters of foreign language that I'm forced to take. Any Italian speakers here? I've already learned a little bit from online tutorials! La pasta è buona! lol.

Thought I might chime in here as well, so I can get a big post count and have people stare in awe at it as they scroll by.

- Vidya (translation for non-dwellers: Video games), obviously, what else would I be doing here? :godot: I play most genres, I'm not very picky.

- Playing various instruments, mainly the Guitar but the Bass and the drums get a good beating once in a while too. I have started to play the Piano as well. Also I'm a music theory nazi, I guess you could say it's the equivalent to the grammar nazi in the music world.

- Mixing, mastering and producing music. Yepp, nothing feels better than completing a super tight mix that is heavier than Godzilla's balls.

- Sampling delicious coffee while enjoying some good ol' jazz, well more the coffee part, I guess my addiction has went so far that drinking coffee has now become a hobby. I'm a man who's pretty serious about his coffee, that's for true.

- I've also been an avid programmer for the last 5 or 6 years, delving into most major languages, Java and Python are favourites of mine.

That should suffice, non? :chef:

I like to write (exceptionally crappy) poetry.

Usually, my poems fall into one of two categories: There are the poems I write for women (although not all of the women I write poetry of actually get the chance to read them.)
And, there are poems I write about nature.

(I did write a couple of "bromance" poems for my two best friends, but they were light-hearted, humorous and somewhat satirical in tone. As an example, one compared me and a friend to Don Quixote and Sancho. That poem involved some serious windmill slaughtering.)

The poems about women and nature, by contrast, are generally all sappy and corny and somewhat embarrassing...but the lyrical and somewhat idealistic nature of their flowery language makes a nice contrast against all the technical, lifeless boilerplate documents I've written for school and work.

Aside from that, in what little spare time I have, I'll watch American football (Go Patriots!), hang out with friends over beers at the local pub, or waste time on internet websites like Court Records.
(I used to be a bit more into acting, but I no longer have the time to invest into performing on stage.)

-I draw anime people. I'm currently learning how to draw realistically, though I don't have much time with my school projects. Get this, my math teacher gives us homework almost every day except for when we have math tests or benchmarks/EOGs. We also have to do a Superstars every week that's due on Thursday. =[ *tear-drop*
-I'm learning the guitar. First my fingers would hurt because my sister has steel strings on her guitar, but then I got used to them.
-I play the Take On Me intro on the piano. It's fun to repeatedly play and see how many times you can play it before you mess up.
-I'm currently obsessed with replaying Professor Layton and the Curious Village. I have to wait for my sister's boyfriend to put all the other games on our R4. I realized something today. We have the European version. I guess that's why meter and millimeter is spelled "metre" and "millimetre". I was doing the 1,000 times puzzle. I guess that's also the reason why Luke's voice sounds awesomely British, I thought that Luke's voice would always sound British in most of the versions, but I guess not.
-Laying around and thinking about stuff. It's a hobby. A lot of people do it in their free time(LIKE MEEE!). Usually I think about the Phoenix Wright pairings I ship, Caesar's English tests, Math tests, if I did my homework or not and projects.
-Drawing on myself. I usually draw anime eyes that have different expressions on my left arm or hand.
-READING! =D I love reading and putting myself in the book's setting, especially when it's adventurous(ex: The Hunger Games series).
-Graphics. Yeah, they're fun, but I barely have time to do them.
That's basically it!

My only hobby is Phoenix Wright. :karma:

Nah, sorry. He-heh. :keiko:

- I read a lot of books (most about love) in my free time after school..
- I watch TV (Gossip Girl rules. Yay :3 ) and I hug my cat too often .. :D
- I do Internet. No. I am the internet. Well, I know, that's bad for me, that I'm too often in the world wide web, but I like it. And I'm only here in it for 1 hour. Maybe 2, but 1 h is often.
- I go to the school. No, I'm just joking. But I like at the school the drawing-class. Well, I'm not good at drawing, but I made a pic from KxE (not very good, but when you would see it..).
- I often play too much PW, but now I finished all games (I'm now playing ME:AAI) and the next game is Trauma Center, because I don't even play it. So, I have my pink NDS and my games - and I'm happy.
- I stared at the pic from Gavin (Well, I mean the younger Gavin!). Most times. I don't know, what happened to me, but I'm obsessed. ~
- I meet my BFF. Hah, yeah, I'm a girl, shopping is normal for me. (:
- I kissed my cat. Oh darn, I love her so much. Aww, sorrysorrysorry. ://
- I watch the vid about Daryan masturbating his hair.

So yay, I have not so much hobbies.. But.. Yey. Whatever.. :3

The beginning was quite fun, just with all the ups and downs
But suddenly, we’re tired, from a waste of meaningless emotions

I collect license plates and road maps. The road maps to look at the transportation routes during different times of the 20th century and going on into the 21st century. I like the different designs of all the license plates and the stories the older ones especially could tell of all the travels and mishaps the car got into.

-Mmm. Started learning chords on the guitar yesterday. They're hard, but if you play them a few times you get used to it. I learned The Artist(by The Hush Sound) intro. I guess I have a new hobby since the intro is so pretty.
-I have a knack for drawing serious characters acting all goofy and whatnot. I drew a Chibi Link who was blushing profusely and a Chibi Marth that looked like it wanted a hug.
-COLLECTING BOUNCY BALLS! I've collected bouncy balls ever since last year or so. Although, when I came home today I only had 15 in my box when I was supposed to have 16 bouncy balls.
-Taking apart mechanical pencils. It's fun to see how many parts you can make your mechanical pencil turn into.
-Swimming. I do a fair share of it at the YMCA. I was recommended for the swim team! YAY!
-Playing Dance Dance Revolution(DDR for short). I've been playing ever since I was little. The first DDR game that I played was the Mickey Mouse one with the song Supercalifragilisticexpialadoshus(I have no idea how to spell it). I guess because I started playing it at an early age I was good at it.
-Playing Rhythm/Music games. I've been playing Guitar Hero ever since I was 7 or so. Then my family got Rockband for Christmas, and we rocked out. I also LOVE playing Rhythm Heaven. It's an awesome game. I'm working on getting perfects on every minigame. Crappy Remix 3 is impossible for me, though. I'm good at fast beats, but not slow beats like Remix 3.

I stalk CR.

Lol, jk. I read, write, draw, and pretty much sound like all of you guys. Ohoho, originality. :yogi:

Oh well. I also have this habit of tying my hair back whenever I'm working or thinking about something, but hey. (Also, welcome back, new-old-new forums!)

Well, I play Warhammer 40,000 from time to time, read books, and play video games. I also write, very occasionally.

I enjoy drawing, reading (especially paranormal stuff, Lord Of The Rings and Ripley's), writing and jigsaws. I also love to sing, but I'm terrible at it, so I hardly ever get the chance. And what I love even more than that is collecting shells at the beach and wear them as earrings later on. XD
Unfortunately I live in a crowded city hours away from any ocean, but I'll be visiting a friend in another city next month and hopefully will get a chance to spend a day or two at the beach with her.

Well recently I've taken to visiting this website called Type Trigger at least 3 times a day.

It's basically a website that gives users writing prompts every 6 hours. What you do is submit a short story that's 300 words or less. The goal is to pass the time, reduce writer's block, or just have a little fun with writing. Since one of my friends invited me to this website I've been hooked. It's a great outlet for the less appealing things I have to say and it also lets me exercise my writing skills.
