I type quite fast but when I need to use a "Q" it takes me some time to find.

I can type in the dark but it takes me ages and I make a lot of mistakes.

Generally I type my message then I go correct spellings and what-not.

I usually type without looking at the keyboard due to homework and overexcessive fanfiction and nonfanfiction story writing. my speed is about...a little faster then an average person? Adequate I guess...about...4 to 7 letters per second? It depends on when the reports or stories are due... :edgy:

I'm an incredibly, incredibly fast typer. Of course, don't have to look either.

Have the entire keyboard memorized.

I only really type with my first two fingers, and even use my index fingers for the spaces. I type quickly apparently but I don't make mistakes too much

I had to take a keyboarding class in high school and it was right after we got our first decent computer, so I learned how to type really fast from the start. Using all fingers and I rarely look at the keys. I make a few mistakes here and there, but usually I correct them before I finish the word.

I have difficulty when I switch computers though because other keyboards throw me off. I'm too used to my tiny little laptop keyboard.

I have no idea how many words per minute I average now. When I took the keyboarding class I was at about 80wpm, but that was nearly 8 years ago (which makes me feel really old), and I type faster now than I did then.

I don't have any sort of typing tutoring program, and it's been ages since I even bothered to keep track on this.

I can type without looking at the keyboard. I took a typing class my freshman year of high school, which really helped. I usually go back and spell check afterwards when I am done typing. I have no clue how fast I can type or how accurate I am though.

I do play this game called Typing Terror on Neopets though. I still can't pass the final boss though. I need more work on my typing skills. You can play it here if you want, and you don't have to sign up or anything either.

Wasn't there a typing game called Maxis somthing? It really helps with your typing, you guys should try it out. I think it's a game that you can choose various games within this 3 dimensional room.
I used to play it everyday at Elementary School. It seemed like a beginner's typing game but it got me really fast at typing!

I'm a fast typer and don't have to look, but I make plenty of typoes--luckily, if my eyes don't notice them, my fingers do, and they're programmed to backspace immediately if they've hit a wrong key. So I'm innacurate but it tends to not matter except that it very slightly impedes my speed.

I type mostly with one hand so I can have my hand on the mouse or something else. I used to type really fast when I was like 12 but it soon disappeared after I had to switch the keyboard and computer desk. Now it's just normal speed. So it really depends how comfortable I feel.
I look at the keyboard, but I can type without looking as well but I hate correcting the many upcoming typoes~

I actually just noticed that today for me as well. It seems like I average quite a few backspaces per sentence.

I type about probably 60 to 70 words a minute I would say. I tend to make a few mistakes when I type, and I have done it so much, I seem to have the backspace key's position memorized. I remember when I had to search for it everytime I goofed. I wonder if I should be proud about that....

I type semi-fast for someone who types with only 2 fingers but I do tend to make a lot of missteaks when I type and not go back and check for them. And even then, I miss a few still sometimes. But it's better then I used to be. :larry2:

The last typing test I took said I typed 91 words per minute, but that's just at my job. When I'm online during my spare time, I type a bit slower since I'm not in such a rush. I'm pretty accurate, but I still have my fair share of typos and slip ups.

The fastest I've ever typed was almost 100 WPM but I didn't really have great accuracy. Now I'm at about 80 WPM, I still have to look at my keyboard for numbers and symbols. LOL

I can type REALLY fast using only my two index fingers. (because I'm too uncoordinated to type any other way)

Currently I'm on a different keyboard, where the keys are smaller and so I slip easily and make a lot of typos. It's annoying >_>

I pretty much type as fast as a hyperactive squirrel, then go back and correct my mistakes.
I used to be real slow though, when I was little I used to have a game called Timon & Pumbaa learn to type, and I was so bad that they didn't even have a score for me! I think I would have been ---(continue for about 3 years)---F. :nick:
And I use my whole hand, but not the way you're meant to do it though.

I'll type this as fast as I can without checking to see if I've made any mistkaes so you can see for yourselves how inaccurate I am. I type prettty fast, but I miss the wrong kets a lot, so I reread most posts a couple of times before posting.

I don't look at the screen while I'm typing and just look at the keyboard, which is a real paing sometimes when I hit capts lock instead of A and end up with posts looking kind LIKE THIS.
