I can type in the dark but it takes me ages and I make a lot of mistakes.
Generally I type my message then I go correct spellings and what-not.

I have difficulty when I switch computers though because other keyboards throw me off. I'm too used to my tiny little laptop keyboard.
I have no idea how many words per minute I average now. When I took the keyboarding class I was at about 80wpm, but that was nearly 8 years ago (which makes me feel really old), and I type faster now than I did then.

I type semi-fast for someone who types with only 2 fingers but I do tend to make a lot of missteaks when I type and not go back and check for them. And even then, I miss a few still sometimes. But it's better then I used to be.

I used to be real slow though, when I was little I used to have a game called Timon & Pumbaa learn to type, and I was so bad that they didn't even have a score for me! I think I would have been ---(continue for about 3 years)---F.
And I use my whole hand, but not the way you're meant to do it though.

I don't look at the screen while I'm typing and just look at the keyboard, which is a real paing sometimes when I hit capts lock instead of A and end up with posts looking kind LIKE THIS.
