Does anybody here listen to ska? :damon:

(Ska is a type of music that originated in Jamaica, music consists of instruments such as trumpets, trombones, and saxaphones, and of course, guitars mixed in, the result is A mix of Rock/ska)

I rarely know people who actually like ska. ex of a ska band) Reel Big Fish

Reel Big Fish is my fav band ever :godot:

I think it's okay, but one of my friends really loves it. Honestly it bugs me because it doesn't even seem big enough or unique enough for it's own genre. It could easily be meshed into something else. Also, tons of ska fans seem to feel the need to show off their "culture". I have nothing against the music, but some of the fans are just... grrrrrr.

I've only very vaguely heard of Ska music, never listened to it before though :)

It's somewhat well known, I'd say. Though it's not as popular now as it was in the 90's and before.

99% of the music I listen to is ska. I love it.

I didnt know Reel Big Fish was Ska. In fact, I didn't even know of ska's existence up untill this point. I do like their song 241. Only one I know... :wacky-edgy:
