Alright so I got to thinking. What are your neighbors like?

I mean do like them hate them? Share any crazy story about your neighbors here.

My nieghbors are cool actually we don't talk to the ones on the left much so I don't know what there like. The ones on the right are cool and the guy who lives there tends to mow our lawn and our mom gets kinda disappionted but we know he means well.

Well DISCUSS.

I live on a street full of old people. Nothing interesting really comes from that.

My neighbors to my right are actually my Uncle, Aunt and Cousin. My family keeps a key to their house in case they lock themselves out, or need us to go over and open the door for their dogs to go outside. It's nice being next to them, since I can just borrow anything if I need it.

My neighbors to the left are very nice. My nephew has become friends with the kids in that house. They ride bikes together and even come over to play video games. I say hi to them when I seen them. My family gets them a box of candy for Christmas too.

My neighbors to the back, I've never seen. I never see them in their backyard when I'm in my backyard.

As for my neighbors across the street, I think I talked to them once when there was a blackout. I walked out of my house, and they walked out of there house. They asked, "Is it a blackout?" I said it was. Then we walked back into our own houses. I don't talk much to them.

We have really cool neighbours. It's a really friendly street in general and we get to do the traditional British "chatting over the garden fence". It's nice, after living for a few years in bigger towns and flats where no-one knew who you were.

My neighbours are families with little girls who are ALWAYS in the streets and stare at you when you go in your house with their huge eyes.

One of my neighbours had a baby which screamed blue murder a few years ago.
We had a year or so of peace then they went and had another one. >.<

I used to live next to super-generous Mormons with a laboratory in their basement (O_o), but now we live next to..um...nice old people?

I swear my parents are the youngest couple on the street, and they're both 56. :beef:

There is a horse ranch in the neighborhood. Or it's actually over the streets, far enough that our dogs don't seem to notice them or else they'd go crazy. I don't go there often, but I know it's a special ranch where they breed rare horse breeds.
We have other neighbours just beside our house but I don't know anything about them since they recently moved in there. Also we are expecting new neighbours this year as a family has been building a house behind ours for nearly a year. Very friendly people.

However, when our family still lived in Helsinki, our neighbours were a total nightmare. There were 2 noisy dogs, they'd bark to every little thing happening outside and wouldn't stop until the family mother slapped them or something.
Then there were this annoying little girl, who cried and shrieked too freakin' many times (and darn she was loud!), either be it because she was so selfish or her brother accidentally hurt her. I actually had to play with her multiple times so that her family could rest. She was actually a nice girl, but sometimes she wouldn't let go of me and forced me to be with her for a little longer. And I had to watch several Barbie movies I owned (don't ask) with her... Argh, the pain.

I have no neighbors. Well, not very close ones anyway. Every house is a mile apart from the next out here.

But, I did live in an apartment by myself last semester to be closer to school and my neighbors were college students. Really loud people, all of them. Liked to play music until 3 in the morning sometimes. :nick:

I live on a terraced street with really close housing, so I have a lot of neighbours. And they're all annoying.

27 - old guy, don't mind him
23 - SCREAMING AT ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT. They've woken me up at THREE AM with their antics. ¬¬ I hate them.
21 - LOUD AND REALLY REALLY BAD TASTE IN MUSIC. And now they're redoing the garden. ¬¬
Other houses - loud, lots of children, and also REALLY BAD TASTE IN MUSIC. (No, I don't want to hear your idea of decent dance music at 7 am on a Sunday when you're three blocks away.)
There's also an African House of some sort (I think it's a refuge thing) and we keep getting people knocking about it. DO I LOOK AFRICAN TO YOU?

My current neighbors are all quiet and I almost never hear them, except for when they're coming up the stairs, because the sound reverberates throughout the building. It's not very loud, though. The neighbors in the apartment next to mine are very, very sweet, and they've helped me several times... When I forgot my house keys, and they'd let me stay with them until my mom came back from work

My neighbors in my dad's apartment are pretty much all nice, they keep to themselves, except for Bruno, the guy who lives on the first floor. The guy's INSANE. Seriously. He's made accounts in several different banks and then sued them all, so now he's having trouble finding another good bank. He seems to have a problem with all the other residents, is frequently complaining about the garage parking spaces... Hey, get this. There was a neighbor who had two parking spaces, but only one car. My dad asked if he could use the spare to park his motorcycle. Bruno also had two parking spaces and one car, and after my dad started parking there, Bruno went up to our apartment and complained that he couldn't park because of the motorcycle. (No, he had NEVER used his spare, located in front of the bike, which he was claiming he had to use.) So my dad moved the bike to the back of the garage.

And month after month, Bruno never used his spare parking space. My dad decided he could use the other guy's spare again, but the next morning, he went down and found out Bruno had dragged the bike all the way back to the wall and parked in the space he had never used.

:wtf:

And don't get me started on all the other atrociously crazy things he's done. Really. someone should take that guy and lock him up.

Well, before I moved, I lived right by a whole bunch of nice people. To the right there were some nice people we had known for years, across the street there were nice people that we had known for years, and on our left...well, we'd known them for years, and the kids were annoying (most of the time) but the parents were really nice. We used to hang out with them a lot. But then they moved to Rocklin, and someone else moved in. The first thing they did was cut down this huge tree that was in the front yard. Said something about it being dieased or something. Then they tore up the grass and replaced it with gravel. Not even colored gravel-just ugly gray gravel. It was supposed to be some sort of river. It sucked, because the people that lived there before them had just gotten the front yard redone and everything.
And now I moved, and I live across the street from college cross country runners (who are moving) and some people that park their car in front of our house, even though their driveway is empty.
I hate where I live.

We have none to the left, he moved to California. See, no one wants to live in New Jersey.

And to the right, the kid is a year younger then me, and sometimes I want to kill him. We always fighting to see if the Mets or Yankees or better.

Of course it's the Yanks!

Let's see...There's a couple that (unsure how old they are, but their kids already moved out) lives next to us with their cats. They're really nice! The girl, Nancy, is really good friends with my Mom, Grandma and me. She talks to us whenever she happens to see us. She also has pretty flowers on the front lawn that her daughter helps tend whenever she visits. Oh yeah, she even baked my family cookies and brownies once. :D They were soooo good, and the brownies went great with tea! As for the husband, I don't see him often, but he's nice. Usually he's out riding his bike or something. He mows the lawn for Mom a lot.

There's also another family that lives next to us. I don't really know that much about them, except they have a giant boat that they park near our house (When this happens, Grandma gets really pissed and she starts rambling kinda like Oldbag). They also have a weiner dog, but I don't see him often. Oh yeah, a few days ago, they had a "For rent" sign up, but the next day, it was gone. And they also removed these lights they had on the front lawn for some reason. O.o

But overall, my neighbors are nice and I like them. Espically the cute kitties. :D But they climb on my Dad's car sometimes and he gets mad.

My neighborhood is pretty much dead which isn't much of surprise considering what we have nearby.

We one of the most major expressways two blocks away so it's always crowded streets. Plus, We have one of the more dangerous high schools about a block away. So, during school hours and the few hours around that time, you can't walk the streets unless your willing to rish having a "cap busted in yo' ass". *sighs* :yuusaku:

I have TONS of neighbors... Well I DO live in a first floor flat! lol.

First off we have the old lady and her husband. She's SOOOO nosey! She means well but GOD! Almost every night around 5pm we get this knock for some reason of another, and ma ends up dragged off for an hour to talk with them (plus sherry. lol) nice enough, but annoying.

Below us is a 95 year old millionaire. I keep telling ma to marry him, after all, he hasn't got long to go! (I am JOKING, for all ye without a scense of humor/a scense of humor that doesn't share my taste.)

Above us... I'm not too sure. It used to be a couple with 3 kids (they moved for clear reasons to a bigger house) the kids used to tromp around like ELEPHANTS you could hear them ALL THE TIME (the twins were about 3) I think it's a lawyer and a teacher above us now, they recently married and that's all I really know about them.

Next door not to sure... two barristers? Sounds about right.

Then it the SMEB. The "Stock Market Exchange Basterd (sp?)" He constantly floods in the old couple in, and refuses to get it fixed. Nor does he bother paying for the stair cleaners that come every week (everyone else pits in) And kicks dogs (ok... I made that up but I'm pretty sure he does.)

Speaking of dogs... The last flat I know of in our block... D8
If you happent open the door at the wrong time and it's coming up the stairs, *WOOSH!* straight in to the living room, where the cats usually are, they puff up into strange shapes and the MAULE it. But DAMMIT, it's hard catching that mutt.

That's the flat buddies. It the house directly next to us is another couple with FIVE great danes. They leave them out in the garden all day and all they do is whine. It's really upsetting, so we called the RSPCA and it hasn't happened since. ;D

...I have lots of neighbours huh? lol.
