Post subject:  Misheard song lyrics/general convo anyone?
We've all heard something odd in a song before! 99.9% of the time, we didn't hear it right! So what's the oddest thing you've misheard in a song? Or in a convo?

Mine:

"I'm blue and I'm going to die" - Blue (Da Ba De)

"I've got an iPod on my head"-.... I can't honestly remember, it was on the radio.

My personal fav is from a pal of mine, a bit ditzy so you can garentee she actually heard this, and I'm still wondering HOW:

"Wake me up, before you fall, fall, don't leave me climbing up the bathroom wall, wall!" - Wake me up before you go-go (o.O)

So? What have you misheard before?

I've had a few clashes with convo's... but I honestly can't remember any off the top of my head. :knock-knock: I'll post some if I remember any!

I don't really remember convos, but for some reason, I think just about everything that my mother is saying is some kind of innuendo when it actually isn't. I'm so good at not listening to her. This doesn't mean that I have a dirty mind, does it? As for song lyrics, I'll have to get back to ya on that.

I haven't misheard any song lyrics that I can remember, but my mother does that ALL THE TIME. It's so funny how she interprets some song lyrics; they can be so off from the original lyrics, and it really makes me laugh whenever she does it. And I correct her every time she gets them wrong. XD [I do the same thing with song titles as well. She'll ask me what the song title is and who sings it, and for some odd reason, whatever the song or genre, I will know what it is/who sings it.]


I HAVE SUCH A GIFT CONCERNING MUSIC, LOL. :D


I'll try and think of some horribly ad-libbed song lyrics I've heard/made up.

My mom is great when she is so dead tired and trying to pronounce what things say. I loved her Cinnamon Coast Tunch. In Branson we passed by a sign that said Mountain Man Nut and Fruit and she goes and calls it the Nut and Flut. She even called David Copperfield, Davith Cumferpield. Yeah, I guess its those you had to have been there moments.

I can't think of anything in particular, although I know there's tons... Although I think I'm totally hearing this wrong, but in the beginning of the chorus for "Player" by Origa and Heartsdales, it sounds like she's saying "God bless the player", which I think is wrong. Still sounds cool though.

Well, I just happened to pass by the TV and they were saying that "This is the CANE episode you can't miss" and I thought they said "This is the GAY episode you can't miss." I was so disappointed when I didn't see a homosexual couple on TV. :(

I pick up lyrics really quick and I'm usually very accurate. MAkes me lol when people are singing and they sing something so random I ask them to repeat it and they say no XD

Generally in conversation people can be talking about anything and I'll want to know 'Who's gay?' because so many words sound like gay. I love jumping to conclusions. 'Who's gay? Our english teacher? And he's getting married?? OMG' 'No no no! My dad's going away!' 'Aww Okay... That's not as exciting'

I misheard Come As You Are by Nirvana. When Kurt said "Memoria" I somehow misheard it as Dan Marino. I also misheard B.Y.O.B. by System of a Down. When the song said: "Blast off! It's party time! and we don't live in a fascist nation!" I misheard it as this: "Passed off is party time! And we all live in bassist nation!"
