Give him some food, he must be starving. See if he speaks English. If so, ask for his story regarding why he's half-naked in a box on my doorstep. If not, see if he speaks ANY discernable language. I'm fortunate to know enough people to have one to help me with most major languages... but get him some clothes before asking them to come to the house and translate. But honestly, I'd be secretly suspecting some sort of elaborate prank.
