At least, that's what I gather from all of his scenes.
Oh, I also liked Zant from Twilight Princess a lot. Only at first, when only the lower part of his mask disappeared and he still looked like a blue-skinned bishie. And then, when you confront him for a battle .... he just lost all seriousness for me. He became a joke.

Pfft hardly a villain at all but by the same logic neither is Jecht who I'd say is amazing.
Hazama from Blazblue or Wesker from Resident Evil.
