Are you talkin' games similar to Hotel Dusk/Phoenix Wright, then?

I don't think I can think of anything in that particular style, to be honest. If we're on the level of DS games, I'd say Elite Beat Agents. My little brother bought it, and it looks pretty awesome. Then there's also Trauma Centre: Under the Knife, which might be worth a look, but it is fairly difficult.

Sorry to not be of much help, otherwise. I don't buy many games lately, and I'm kind of waiting on the third part of Phoenix Wright, be it import, or otherwise~.

Since I'm on the move a lot, I usually have my DS with me.

I got hooked on Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for the DS so much a while back I went out and got the next installment, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, straight up on a whim!

Have you tried Mario Kart for the DS? If not, try it. Even if you're not "wowed" by it at first I'm sure it will grow on you.

If you're into patching SNES games, I'd seriously look into Famicom Detective Club Part II. It's an EXCELLENT mystery game. It's like Phoenix Wright, without the humor or the court, and pump the mystery and suspense up ten points. Plus there's a Gant character in there.

Hotel Dusk is the spiritual sequel to Trace Memory, so if you like HD try TM. Rosa's husband is also in TM.

There are two versions of the game. I think it's the older 1.0 version that works with the patch.

There's Broken Sword for the GBA. Oldie classic, one of them point/click adventure types that got ported from the PC, but I thought it was pretty well written.

Taiko no Tatsujin DS is a pretty cute rhythm based game where you get to play japanese taiko drums.

If we're going outside of DS games, I'd say Warioware: Twisted! - Best twenty quid I ever spent.

On a game, that is.

There are a lot of Zelda and Final Fantasy games, you know?

They are really long, I think I won't even have finished them all by oct. 23.

If you're looking for a good text adventure, you should try hunting out Snatcher. There are several versions and they're all hard to find, but you could probably find a rom without too much trouble. Which I don't feel guilty for suggesting in this case, because finding a real copy would be really tough. But it's a great game.

Bloody hell, Snatcher! - Yeah, that's legendary!

I have fond memories of that game, deep inside.

If you're into emulation, play J.B. Harold in Murder Club. (Turbografx 16/ PC Engine)

This game almost resembles Hotel Dusk. The characters are also portrayed from real people too!

Well, you could try the new medical game for the ds called Life Signs: Surgical Unit it doesn't have much of a sci-fi story as Trauma Center but it something to look into.

Also if you play Hotel Dusk for the second time the dialog between Rachel and Hyde changes from the first play and I heard that you can get different endings. I'm stuck on the coin puzzle in the bar just when I think I can advance on my own in this game it throws me another curve.

Ever heard of Professor Layton the Mysterious Village? Well it's going to be released for NA I think 1up had a review on the JP version it might be something worth checking out and also there is Drawn To Life where you get to design your own character, weapons, etc and use him in a game to save the world or something like that.
