It took me forever to get a DS in the first place (lots of begging and staring at the case, practically drooling before I got it for Christmas), and I got the original DS about two months before the Lites were intro'd in the US. Then all the cool stuff I wanted to decorate my DS... disappeared. The case I have was designed for a DS Lite, but the original DS fits... mostly.

To be honest, the thought of my DS-Lite snapping like that one in the picture is almost enough to bring me to tears. I mean, I kind of figured since I bought one, it would last out like all the other handheld Nintendo consoles I bought, prior to the release of this one.

See, I didn't even own an original DS.

And, yeah. The hinges on my DS-Lite have made the odd little cracking sound, now and then. Mostly from playing Hotel Dusk on it like a PRO GAMER, and snapping it out entirely to form what would most obviously resemble an open book.

Regardless. Broken DS-Lite pictures shit me up. End of discussion.
