I first got interested in the game when Sega made a version based on the Adventures of Sonic the Hedehog series called "Dr. Robotnick's Mean Bean Machine". It is one of the puzzle games I actually enjoy playing and still enjoy playing it to this very day.
I also played the online version, but didn't like it so much since you had to use the mouse to click the movements of your puyos.
When I got the computer, I finally played the versions from Compile via roms. The games I played were Super Puyo Puyo, Super Puyo Puyo Tsu, Puyo Puyo~n, Puyo Puyo Sun, Puyo Pop, Haro no Puyo Puyo (with Gundam characters), and the RPG Madou Monogatari. Most of them were in Japanese, but I got a clear understanding on how to play them.
I currently own Puyo Pop Fever for my DS Lite.
Anyways, while looking at a Game Ads site and their
official site I noticed some of my favourite characters from Puyo Puyo will be intergrated with the cast from Puyo Pop Fever in the Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary Collection from Sega. (The characters are Suketoudara, Nasu Grave, Rulue, Schezo Wegey, Arle, Carbuncle, Zo-Daimaoh, and Satan-sama.) It also features characters from Puyo pop Fever Tsu.
Yeah, Complied was bought by Sega. I also did a collection of Puyo Puyo related fan-art
here. As you can see, my fave character from the series has to be Satan-sama/Dark Prince. He's so funny chasing after Carbuncle.
I also saw the game on
Yesasia.com and I wonder if it's compatable for US Nintendo DS. If it is, I'm buying it online or from import stores that I see in Baltimore.
